Default okay can paul mckenna Make me thinn(er)

As a said before I am have decided to emabark on an adventure and try paul mckeena's techinques I am doing this for a varity of resons. My first reason is becuse i want one day to be a personnel trainer or nutrionest so i feel it is improtant for me to get a better understanding of other ppls ways and to learn what the genral population not just body building gym rats do to loose whieght i am very out of touch with that. I am also just wanting to use my brain for something other then diaper changing and cleaning i am loosin it so I am embarking on a project please support me by reading my daily journal i will be posting in this thread thank you so much it means more then you know. I plan to do give a full report I am studing this diet fully by doing reaschearch on line.

    Day one

I got hungry for first time at 10am I poured a normal bowl of cheerios about a cup and pured in a small amount of 2% milk i ate and after every bite i put the spoon down it felt very odd doing this but i did it i savored every bite I felt full after 5 bites i did not finish bowl.

I am hungrey agine it is 1 15pm I am goin to eat now and I am eating all meals at the table with no distractions. I just ate a banquet meal that was egg roll and sweet and shower chicken if i ate the whole meal it would of been 430 cals. But when i sat down to eat it using pauls method i was full less then half way threw the meal so i stopped eating.

Its 330pm i am hungry Im going to go and eat the other half of meal or atleast until i am full. i finshed the egg roll meal so that means i had the whole 430 cals from the meal but i divided it over two meal times.

630 small piece of garlic toast i felt hungry.

there is a website that goes with the tv serious its amazing. I am reading the fourms I am getting a real eye openin view of what ppl with over eating issues go threw and how they think.

I have read that some of the users and this includes me are having a hard time knowing when they are full and hungry but ppl react to it in 2 differnt ways. One group this includes me is eating way less or none at all becuse they don't feel hungry at all. The other group are feeling hungry all the time and eating every hour or so. I think this may be do the way we think about food I am afraid of food so my brain is dealing with this by telling me i am not hungry food is bad. While someone who is addicted to food is afraid of not being able to eat as much there brain is telling eat your hungry. I am intreasted to see how these intantiol reactions change as we adjust to the program and learn are bodies better.

Something else i noticed in the website is how ppl act when told they can eat what ever they want alot of the users get exicted of this they say i can't belive i can eat cake and loose whight and they use emoticons and things to express there excitment. I found this odd but i am learning. Others were the voice of reason explain that they will get sick of eating junk.

The most eyeopeing thing i read was a poster that descibed food anixty much differnt then i ever thought of it she said the she feels bad when she dose not eat all of her food she fears it might not be there agine. She did not seem like that is a reality in her life its just how thinks of food. So on this plan when she thinks she feels full she takes and extra bite for good measure.

I am realy trying to learn and appricate the mind of overeaters so I can learn to one day help them i hope you enjou reading my findings. I can't wait to see how things change in the fourm i am reading as the program moves on.

krchab99 , your first post was SO diet orientated, the opposite to what Pauls book teaches.
Second post tells me you are seeing the light

Best thing I reckon is not to overthink it. Just trust his 4 rules, see what happens. Thats it, nowt much else to it.

Did you get the free CD with it tho? Thats helps.

I have TOTAL faith in his work and this book.
