Hmm. I can see your point, from my limited geographical area, about some of the strippers here.

    However...

    I, personally, hardly drink.

I don't sit around all night bitching, for I happen to work the day shift - on schedule. But the clubs around here don't pay diddly unless you are a feature entertainer.

I don't require being "forced" to work the floor - I talk with all the customers I want of my own free will. I've cultivated a small group of good and consistent regulars I am comfortable with, but alas, none have exactly handed over the keys to the Mercedes. What can I say, it's a blue collar bar. *sigh* Perhaps I am not as predatory in my hustle as I should be?

I am certainly, certainly not a lazy woman.

In fact, I am an un-lazy, non-bitching, no-drink-carryin' lady with a sweet smile and a perfecto ass. Now where's this "right club?"

Unfortunately, I cannot travel, so I hope it's not too far from my home base.

Oh I hope I didn't offended you!! Though I can understand if I did. If you don't know me or your not used to my 'posting style' I can come across bitchy lol.

If your a day shift girl I can see where you might have problems pulling that grand a shift.

I was able to pull it off at The Brass Rail, Whiskey A Go Go(when it was good) and Airport Strip.

I worked long shifts though. I would start between 4 and 7 and work till the lights came on.

It also depends on your personal comfort level... are you okay with heavyish grinding and boob touching?

Its hit and miss. I didn't do it often but I did do it.

I will go into more detail when im actually awake lol.

    Callyish, s'all good with me ;}

I no doubt could use some fresh tips on hustling from you, but I think I responded fairly and in the appropriate place to your blanket statements about Ontario strippers. I mean, whoa, I just got here and have never properly met you, as you said.

Er, I actually forgot to put your quotes in quotation marks, though. That sucketh just a little.

    That said...

Boob touching and grinding: my comfort varies depending on who the dance is for, really. Still, all the girls I've seen lately make between 300 and 600 bills per shift, day or night (no-extras dancing, meaning nothing beyond the boobs or grind).

This amount is only according to what we talk about to each other and what is fairly obvious in the VIP activity level.

    Alrighty then.

Sorry for not using the quote box earlier, I don't think it can be transferred from thread to thread.

In my experience it is a pretty exceptional night to clear a grand in Toronto if you're staying in the club. Like not just for me, but for pretty much everyone I know. $600 is a pretty average "good night" around here.

Although Cally - judge-y much? (everyone - I'm one of the people that can't hack the kind of work she's talking about). I'm not lazy; the work is just hard. I'm not used to working under those kinds of conditions, and I doubt most dancers are.

Oh I never meant to imply a grand a night is easy and a regular thing to pull off lol.

I did it a handful of times in the two years I worked Toronto. Though when I worked at the rail girls were doing it nightly. Same with at Whiskey. These girls wernt sucking cock either lol.

Though I did notice that it was getting harder and harder to make a decent amount towards the end so hey I could be wrong.

Im still going to stand by my saying that a lot of Ontario girls are lazy though. Jenny the working conditions you went through are the worse of the worse. I took girls to Winnipeg that were freaking out and crying about having to do two shows at lunch then have a nice break and go do two or three more shows at dinner then have a nice break then do a few more shows at night time with mandatory floor time.

At the same time though i'll say im lazy cuz I sure as hell wont be caught doing floor time and selling private dances but i've earned the right to avoid doing them ahaha.

Edited to add... why can I never get what im thinking out without it coming out wrong? LoL. I am NOT saying that all Ontario girls are lazy. Its just that there are so many of them who just do not know what its like to have to keep a schedule and actually WORK.

Well, to be fair - many of them aren't lazy; they just have low expectations. Like they honestly don't believe there is a point to hustling the floor; it's not like they are all "there is so much money here, but meh."

I get what you are saying though - I'm sometimes like "what are you doing?"

But again - I think you might underestimate how much work you do. Like 6-8 shows sounds like a lot to me.

(For general elucidation: 4 of us did a booking in a Canadian city; by the end the two of the girls were all "well this is almost over and it's been a great week, despite having to share my hustle floor with you bitches"; 2 of us were "This is TOO hard! I wanna go home! Please don't hurt me!" (the customers were actually very sweet; I don't think I've ever had such nice customers as a whole. They were not going to hurt us). These girls from out west work like fucking machines.

^Am I the other of the us? Because I felt that way!! I was actually in tears, and that's the only time I've cried as a dancer, at a club, in three years. The only time! And it wasn't verbal or physical abuse, it was just fucking tough hours. Here we can take a break whenever...

My low point was "Uhm? Sorry, but we have to draw your ticket now?".

And then this guy won the dance, and he asked if we could "do it here" (by the bar). I was all "NO. We have to do it IN THE CORNER". Like Snappy McAngry. And then I noticed that the guy had one leg, so I tried to backpedal, but he just dutifully limped into the corner...And because I was psychologically spent, my eyes started to tear during the dance...maybe because I'm a baby, maybe because I felt guilty, I don't know. And so I was like "do you want-sniffle-another one-sniffle-?". He said "uhm, if it's okay? with you?". He ended up giving me a big tip, and I felt like such a douche for making the disabled man pity me. Lowest point in my dancing career!

But I still say I'm not lazy. I work five days a week here right now! I think if you averaged the work done by every dancer in North America, you'd find that the Western Canadian show-dancing psychos are the exceptional ones, not the standard, when it comes to working hours/ conditions (and I say this with love).

I've done both. So I can sit here and fairly say from experience that a MAJORITY(as in not all) of girls out east are lazy.

Seriously I mean girls will sit in the changing room all night and bitch there is no money. Or they will walk one lap around the bar with a drink in their hand and sit down and cry there is no money.

This is what I mean by lazy.

Or the girl who shows up at 10 at night, doesn't hit the floor till 1130 then works till 130 and cries she made no money.

See where im going with this?

You take these girls out west and they snap because they can't handle it.

These are also the girls who are bitching that there is no money to be made. It irritates the hell out of me to hear there is no money anymore.

Perfect example is I know a girl who hits TBay every few months and walks away with large amounts of cash. Yet another girl(myself included) can hit there and not make the same money. Why? Because this girl hustles her ass off and will talk to EVERY SINGLE GUY. Yet girls like me will wander around and talk to select guys(im guilty of being lazy in TBay lol).
