Default Anyone have to do the Philly city tax forms?

I was a tad slack and just finished my other tax forms. And now this totally incomprehensible Philly city tax form is making my brain explode. I can't do it with Turbotax. Aagh. Anyone know how to fill this damn thing out from prior experience? If I had a car I'd be bringing it to someone.

not a clue, unfortunately ! At least the NY City income tax is tied to the NY State income tax, so Turbo Tax has the forms and calculations covered.

It's totally different forms, and a different format than the state one! I emailed Turbotax, just in case! Cities should not be allowed to have taxes. At least not with forms I can't figure out.

It's not even normal tax forms, I can do those (with some Turbotax help). It's a ton of self-referencing forms and worksheets that seem to be in no particular order, two different separate parts to fill out (I think) and pay taxes on, and a lot of jargon that appear to have nothing to do with paying the stripper taxes. I don't envy the actual business owners at this moment. Business Privilege Tax, Net Profits Tax, summary forms, schedules. Oy.

I've filled out non-resident, partial year tax forms that made more sense than these. I wouldn't be surprised if half of Philly has business addys just outside the city limits once they've tangoed with these.

I was hoping some mislead Philly stripper would have filled these out at one time. I may actually pay someone to do them. Which is what I should have done in the first place.

Damn, you're right, that is some messy, unfriendly shit: add back to net income any taxes based on net income which
have been deducted in arriving at reported net income
    . Yech.

So which of those do you have to file? Net Profits Tax, since technically you run a business?

Both, I think. I keep looking at instruction page thinking, "Quoi?". I'd rather put together Ikea furniture. It pisses me off though, since I was doing so well. Efiled and everything and then BAMN, huge envelope in the mail.
