Anyone watch this? Tasteless, brilliant, poignant, hilarious? All of the above? I couldn't stomach much past the hospital scene, but then, morning (hah, morning) sickness isn't letting me stomach much of anything right now.

I want to see it but no cable TV right now..But seeing as I helped commit my mom in real life, I might not be laughing at all of it. If it draws attention to the serious problems with the mental health care system, more power to South Park.
This one was far more preachy than any other South Park I have seen. I think it was a good preachy though. These idiots in the media are not going to be happy until she is dead.
^^ ^^ Yeah, when I heard the episode was about her, I was expecting something more along the line of Paris Hilton's "stupid spoiled whore" plot. I read an outline of the rest of the Britney episode, and it def. seems to go out of its way to make an obvious point, rather then tuck it in there with the humor. I'm not used to it being so in your face.

I have to say I thought it was pretty gross and not terribly funny, though effective in its point. I was expecting a Wicker Man at the end.
Now, last week's episode was fun-ny.
Yeah, it was preachy, but it was the damn truth. They really need to leave that girl the hell alone.
iawtc.
I do feel bad for her.
South park is such a smart show.

I watched the whole episode with my mouth agape. Like, omg, omg, omG! OMG!

I wasn't really amused. Just wasn't funny to me. The Jennifer Lopez episode was hilarious!
Taco flavored kissies... LoL.
"We all must suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons. In order to achieve what others don't, you have to do what others won't."

Not their funniest, but definitely one of their ballsiest. Given that, well-done I thought.

"I just can't get over how much babies cry. I really had no idea what I was getting into. To tell you the truth, I thought it would be more like getting a cat." -- Anne Lamott

I'm always surprised that these people can actually outdo themselves with how far they've gone before.

idk I thought it was sick. I just wasn't sure what their point was exactly. I don't think I laughed at all.
I've never been much of a South Park fan. Too crass for my taste. I do however agree with the whoever said earlier about the media and especially the tabloids not going to be happy until this woman is dead.
Thankfully with the recent arrest of those paps who were harassing her & that Sam freak being forced to stay away from her and the drugs he was apparently slipping her being out of the picture- she seems to be getting well. I understand she is teaching regular master classes at that hot LA studio.
She is also appearing in a guest star role on a TV show and having visitation with her kids again. It seems she is back on the road to being a real pop star and hopefully a happy person again.
There never was a good war or a bad peace.
Benjamin Franklin
Yeah cause we all know those Puerto Rican people love their tacos.
I guess there wasn't enough time to indict the fast and loose threatment Spears got from the law re: getting help for her issues sooner. Only enough time for one issue, but the parallel between ritual sacrifice and her situation is pretty brilliant.
PS I blame her parents...Disgusting people.
I'm surprised that they took Britneys side. They dont usually side with other celebs. Not really funny, but I dont think it was especially meant to be..it was meant to make a point, which it did.
Weird Children of the Corn ending too..

Yes it had a good message but fuck that I watch southpark for a laugh not to be depressed and i found that episode depressing. it's the first time i've watched the show and not laughed once.
Very disappointing.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I think I laughed once or twice. I only half ass watch t.v. though so I don't even know what I laughed at but the point was good, and needed.
People really do need to leave her alone. I really don't understand how or why people care so much about people they don't know...it'd weird to me.
I thought it was an average eppi.
