Default Mastey de Paris hair products?

I've been looking at the Mastey de Paris line of hair products. I'm intrigued because the shampoos contain no sulfates, and the conditioners contain no silicones. Most sulfate-free shampoos strip the hair and leave it tangled and snaggy. Most cone free conditioners don't adequately moisturize. However, this line claims to have shampoo that leaves slip and conditioner that penetrates the hair rather than coat.

Anyone know about these? Also, should I go with the Moisture line or the Repair line? My hair is thick but fine, a bit oily, I dye it black, and I heat straighten it a couple times a week.

I LOVE this stuff. I decided to go cone and sulfate free but had bad experiences with hippie stuff that neither cleaned nor conditioned effectively. I did a bunch of research and ended up finding this. I bought a bottle of Traite shampoo and Frehair conditioner on eBay and loved it so much after a month of using it that I bought a 6 months supply. I have never done that. I never buy stuff more than once because nothing ever seems to live up to it's promises.

I have thick but fine, oily-enough-to-have-to-wash-most-days, colored, frequently blow-dried hair---in other words, quite similar to yours. The shampoo doesn't lather up crazy like most shampoos, but does an amazing job of cleaning once you get the knack. I sort of do sections--putting a bit at the front, back, sides, and crown and work it into my scalp really well. I don't even worry about washing the length as that gets taken care of in the process. I rinse, apply Frehair to most of my hair (my hair is super layered so some "ends" are way up into my length) and rinse very well. It makes my dry hair so silky and smooth, but doesn't weigh me down if I get it to close to or even on my scalp.

YMMV, but I can't say enough good about this product line. I love it.

I really like Mastey. Bought some a couple of months ago. I'll have to check and see what I'm using though. I know I'm using the Reconstructor and the moisturizing condish, can't remember the name though. I'm not sure what the poo is, but I know it isn't Mastey Traite. The conditioners are all oil free which should be good for all fine haired ladies. They still work really well for thicker hair if you add a little Olive Oil before applying, and I love that they are cone free.

I was using those for a while and also Jonathan products, which I also highly reccommend. My problem was that the lack of lather made it hard to work into my hair. A good workaround is putting a quarter size of shampoo in a cup, then filling it up with water, so it was all foamy, and then working that into my hair.

I've been convinced! I've been contemplating buying an SLS free/cone free shampoo and conditioner for a while but my hair was growing out of its horribly damaged phase and Joico Kpak seemed like the only thing that worked. I've been really gentle on it and the damage is mostly cut off now. I do have super fine, thin, dyed limp hair though. I'm hoping it works. I'm concerned aboot sls crap though.

I can't decide whether to try the line for fine hair or the line for damaged hair. My hair is super, super fine but damaged just from dyeing it black (I'm blonde) all the time.

How does this stuff smell? Strong? Chemical? Cloyingly sweet?

^^ The reconstruct is kinda stinky, but doesn't leave a scent in your hair. The rest don't really have too much of a scent.

Traite and Frehair are light and lovely.
