Default So since we're on SHOES... Recs for wide feet?

I have very wide feet. To this date I haven't been able to walk in platforms higher than these. My center of gravity goes over the edge of the shoe and I fall. (Once I sprained my foot doing this, and foot sprains are no laughing matter -- a month off work, a year before it recovered completely.) I have several pairs of shoes at home that I've bought and then found I couldn't wear.

As a rule, Ellie shoes can fit me better than Pleaser: the insoles are just slightly wider.

I keep hearing recommendations of Tony Shoes. Can anyone tell me how the width (both insole width and platform width) compares to Pleaser and Ellie? These look pretty awesome, but $70 is a lot to risk!

I have wide ass feet... they're like frickin' snow shoes. I LOVED but I still had to heat up the plastic upper with my hairdryer to stuff my foot into it... I was seriously thinking about investing in custom made ones from since I could ge it in a leather uppper and a wide width. It would've been around $150- serious ouch! I ended up deciding to retire before I ordered anything from them.
