Default The Handmade Craft Traders Thread

Murdock and I made this great deal - we have to send each other HANDMADE presents. You know the reason the bunnies are so great is because you get the excitement of giving/receiving... but what about giving or receiving 100% Handmade things?!

    Can you knit, sew, embroider?
    Can you bake?
    Can you paint, photograph, draw?
Can you melt glass, hammer jewellery, bead things?

If you can do ANYTHING crafty or handmade, this thread is for you!!

I would like people to meet and greet at this thread with the sole purpose of trading handmade things. You will NOT KNOW WHAT YOU GET! It could be a handmade cameo pin, a set of handmade cards, a knitted scarf...anything!

Shh! Do not tell your person what they will get!

Post here if you want to participate and let someone pick you for trades!

Um... $10 packages? That sounds good. Just small gifts handmade. Like 4 cards.. or one small knit thing... or a large thing if you want - but average a little $10 package?

HAS TO BE WRAPPED - give them the gift of unwrapping!

Okay... post here with the crafts you do and the things you like... and let someone else PM you saying they want to trade and their address! So people can pick who they want and PM people to get the stuff. I'd make an Elfster one maybe..

    Hi,

I'm Lysondra and I make paper crafts mostly and knit as well when I'm in the mood. I like to give custom cards, paper stars, cat and bird toys, collars, and small sewn objects. I also like to embellish pre-existing objects.

I like scented things. Small things. Cute things.

    Hi, I'm the hockeybobby,
    I make Maple Syrup.
I would love a knitted wool sweater cuz I don't have one. But that's a lot of work, so I'll try to think of something easier that I'd like, and I'll edit this if I do.

    I'm cherry sin,

And I do lots of things. But mostly I make really great bath fizzies, oils, lotions, and hair stuff. It's all organic, so if you have an allergy, I need to know.

My specialty is the Ecstacy bath pack for when you're rolling.

I don't care what I get but I'd love to participate. I have a thing for stationary, if that helps.

i make silly stuff. embroidery of monsters and animals puking. i am learning to knit.

i make drawings and weird collages.

    my crafty stuff is non-traditional.

i am also learning to crochet but i haven't found the time to master that yet.

I really like the card in your pic - I'm a sucker for "real" mail with pretty paper or cards. Maybe we are a pair. LOL.

When's the close date on this?

OH! No close date. Just pick someone to trade with and PM them, have a trade, and then post about it!

I can color in fuzzy posters!

I can melt lush stuff into other lush stuff. I discovered that I can melt a buffy into a rockstar and get exfoliating soap!

I know how to make my own scented candles. (No laughing at me please ). My gf used to love putting up candles all over the house so I learned how to make them myself and gave them to her as presents.

Any gift is fine with me. As they say, it's the thought that counts.

You know I am a little bit obsessed with Canadian Maple Syrup, when I was travelling in Europe one of my mates used to get his grandma to send over bottles of the stuff from her maple syrup farm (or factory/trees lol I dont know how its made). It was always the highlight of the month when he got some. In my mind it is the most fantabulous taste in the world!!

So are you kidding or can you REALLY make maple syrup???

^I'm pretty sure you find a syrup tree. And then you jam a metal straw into it, and then the stuff that drains out you cook into syrup.

Syrup is like, tree blood, or something.
