So, I'm thinking I might have this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angular_cheilitis
At first I was freaking out because these pimples appeared at the corner of my mouth, I poked at them and they became this horrific mess that's on my face right now, so I immediately panicked and thought "Oh man, I hope I don't have herpes!!!"
I poked around online and found that herpes sores rarely hit the corner of the mouth where this one is located and this problem is caused by malnutrition, oral yeast infections, or excessive lip smacking/licking (which my Adderall causes me to do).
It's probably a long shot, but does anyone have any experiences with this? Wikipedia recommends lip balm and to be careful not to lick the area, otherwise it may need some sort of antifungal treatment (which I can't really afford 'cause I don't have any more doctor's appointments left for the YEAR).
Ow. It hurts. A lot. I've been slathering on lip balm but as soon as it dries it HURTS. I guess I'm not gonna work until this clears up 'cause I thought it was herpes (that is until I looked at the pictures of this type of sore and it's identical to what I have) so I can only IMAGINE what customers will think.
I need a hug. This sucks!
