Default 3 days old eye shadow

There is a lady who does makeup in the dressing room at work. She does a really good job, but still... Tonight this one chick comes in and swears she needs the makeup lady to do her eyeshadow, but her eyes are already done, nicely. So we're all like, "why do you need your eyes done? They look good!" She's like, "well I need her to change the color. I'm horrible with makeup so i just left it on from when she did it wednesday night"...

I'm just like, ok so did she not wash her face at all for three days?
Or did she wash her face but just wash AROUND her eye sockets?
And just how long can you wear makeup and have it still look ok anyhow?

It's just... weird. And kinda gross. But maybe it's just me.

maybe she put some stuff on it to make it stay, in addition to not bathing.

I use MUFE mist and fix. I'm sure my e/s would stay on 3 days with that stuff!

Ewwww. The second I sleep my make-up goes all gross. I use MAC one my eyes which has strong pigment and there's just no way it would last more than two days.

    Has she even slept?!!?

So this girl is too lazy to do her own makeup AND too cheap to pay to get it done every day? LOL

I reckon it's possible to wash around the eyes and have the makeup last 3 days, but it seems a bit disgusting to me. My eyes get all itchy and watery just in a few hours, even with so-called "sensitive" type makeup. I can only imagine if I wore the shit for 3 days!

Eew, even if she did just wash round the eyes I still think its gross. There's no way I could sleep in my make-up for 3 days, she's heading towards and eye infection.

If she keeps this up, she is going to have some saggy eyes in a few years.

I slept in only eyeliner last night and it is smeared all over my eyes. I can't imagine how to keep an entire eye's worth of makeup intact, especially over multiple nights lol.

Hahahha I could never do that if I slept in my makeup. it would be smeared all over my face by the time I would wake up.

These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

On one of Tyra's shows, she talks about how if she spent an insane amount of money on a makeup artist, she would try to make it last for three days. She said she got used to sleeping on her back and trying not to mess it up. Ewww!

Yikes. I was too lazy to wash my face before bed last night and my eyes hate me right now. I have no idea how I'd do that... yeah, maybe she hasn't slept.

I remember that episode. It was something about being a model or when she was a model.

I vote that she's crazy and lying. I wear MAC eyeshadow and I use a base underneath and it's ready to GO after my 8 hour shift. There's something that Benefit sells that you put over your eyemakeup to make it last forever (it really does work but it irritates my eyes). That's the only thing I could think of that would make it last that long. So, unless your make-up lady is using something special, my vote is that the chick does too many drugs.

My old roommate would leave false eyelashes on for days. Dont know how that worked. I slept in them once and they were glued together and poking my eye!!

Yuck, I don't think anybody should leave any kind of makeup on for that long. Mine always comes off at the end of my day/shift. It's refreshing to let my skin breathe. I can't see how anyone can leave all that on their face and still be able to fall asleep.

I knew a girl that kept re-using the same pair of false eyelashes. It got to the point where they were constantly falling off half her eye. She was oblivious to it.

Gross as well!!! I think in my roomie's case, she couldn't get them off (the individual kind). I lived with her so I know she showered lol. I can't even put them on myself if there is no make up artist, I gets no lashie.
