Okay, check this out:
My mom and I went out to lunch today at a resturaunt we've gone to fairly consistently for YEARS, like since I was 18 and she goes there without me too obviously.
Everything was fine and as we're leaving and I notice that somebody is parking me in. I am in an angle spot and somebody is parked right behind me, where there is no spot. I would have had to drove the wrong way around the ENTIRE lot to exit. I'm no goodie two shoes, but the lot was busy and didnt want to get in an accident.
I know who the manager is and I politely went up to him and pointed out the window and asked him if he could help me find out who was parking me in. He told me to JUST DRIVE THE WRONG way around the whole parking lot, even though this is like a circle lot with only one lane and as we look in the window , you can see cars driving around. Not like it was dead. Let's call the manager Ken.
So as I am again calmly explaining to Ken that I would prefer not to do that, some fuck from the bar comes running up to me and saying, "Oh that's my car! It's in a spot!" (It wasn't) I know Ken doesn't like me saying this, but I know him and he's the owner and they let me park wherever I want. I'm a special customer here" and laughing at me the whole time.
He proceeds to keep talking and literally get up in my face and my MOM's face as he is doing so!! I get really protective of my mom and he was being out of line, so I just yelled "Fine ya asshole" pushed past him grabbed my mom and dragged her out the door.
I'm not really as upset about the asshole cause assholes are assholes, but Ken, really? I mean we go there so much he sat us at our "regular" table!! Ken did NOTHING to stand up for me and I know damn well if this asshat had parked a man in, he would have gone outside and moved his car.
I will CLEARLY never be going back to this resturaunt again, and maybe I'm being over dramatic, but I felt really awful about the way they treated me. It was so disrespectful. I'm in the service industry and if I was bartending, I would have sure as shit told my asshole friend to go move his car. I just felt like they were totally picking on my because I'm a stupid girl, right??
My final comment on this is also OBVIOUSLY the asshole who parked me in KNEW he was in the wrong spot, or why else would he have come running when he overheard people talking about being parked in? He couldn't see from his vantage point what car I was talking about and it's a big lot.
