Default Do you ever feel "fat" onstage?

I don't know what my problem is, as I am not heavy by any means (5'3" 125 lbs and toned) but for some reason I feel chubby onstage. I also feel like customers are looking at things like possible cameltoe.

Am I alone? Am I just shy? What is it?

thats normal I am a curvey girl but I was also a belly dancer before stripping. Belly dancing moves embrace full figures. Most of the how-to belly dance movies even the tiniest girl will at leat have a tummy, a but, or boobs; so whichever part she has the most of she shimmies the most. I've also found that darker colors make me look wider in black light, colors that glow in UV make me look thinner, boots make me look thinner, and I added extensions to my hair and went from black hair to bleach blonde which thinned out my face and looks great on my backside during booty moves, also I wear either a double strap thong or a wide strap thong, that I have made at an alteration shop or order them when I can find them so that they sit a little bit higher on my stomach as most thongs from strip club stores only cover my tootsie, so the wider thongs I think thin me out and make me feel less naked and like my tootsie will fall out. XOXO

I believe it is true what they say about everyone being their own worst critic.

Chances are the customers are just looking at you for what you are. A beautiful naked girl dancing in front of them.

I feel fat on stage every night.. Every time I bend over, when I get on my knees. I don't think it's as bad as we think it is though. I always get compliments though when I go for dances. It's hard when you are a curvy girl and you are surrounded by girls with washboard stomachs and size 0 jeans.

Unless you've gained *A LOT* of weight since the last time I saw you, you don't look fat. Are you still working out as much as you were last fall?
Maybe if you hit the gym a little harder you'll be more confident.

No, I don't feel that way. Although there had been a few weeks where I had been drinking only soda and no water and one day on stage I saw that I had noticeable cellulite. Needless to say I'm back on water!!

You know in your right mind you're not fat. Why do you only feel fat on stage?

I feel fat a LoT on stage. I'm one of the heavier girls, and although I make top money I'm still very much so down on myself. I've been pushing myself to eat better, and once I'm healed up then I'll hit the gym hard and consistently. I hope you feel better about yourself , it's always the worst when you hear yourself saying it.

    Thanks girl...

Yes I am still hitting the gym 5 days a week, am on a low-carb diet...I weight about 5 lbs. less than when I last saw you. I'm trying to get down to 115 b/c I'm doing a film soon and the camera adds 10 lbs and all that stuff...

I know I don't LOOK fat...just last night a guy I was giving a dance to said "How do you stay so skinny?" Which made me laugh b/c I know I am not rail- thin or anything...but I FEEL chubby onstage. I'm wondering if I feel different than I look? I dunno. That's why I'm like WTF is wrong with me?

BTW this weight is a bitch to get off...
