I have some plastic cheap-o ones that are thinner framed, and a happy medium between round and square. They look really office-ish and I get compliments when I wear them. I'll try to get a pic for you laterYou'd look so hot in the school girl outfit and some glasses at work!

I don't have any advice for you... I just wanted to say, HOLY CRAP!Get better soon!
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

I have "transitions lenses" which go dark when exposed to UV rays. I also have a clip to put on them in the car, as the UV doesn't get through the glass/tinting. You really need to use sunglasses with all the sun you get down there. They prevent damage from the UV, and help to prevent squinting which will give you crow's feet lines like I have.
If there is smoking going on in your club, your eyes will be more comfortable without contacts.
Feel free to ignore anything in this post which seems stupid or useless. I'm manic right now, and not responsible.![]()

I can't remember if I even asked. I got the black. I just asked for whatever was darkest.
I just remembered I got a seperate set of prescription sunglasses for golf. I found a set of Puma frames that really hugged at the sides, sort of wrapped around my eyes really well and gave me really good coverage. They aren't transitions though, and they are brown. They make me look cooLhot, which is the most important thing on the golf course.

My best advice is to take someone with you who you trust. It's so hard to say what any thing will look like until it is on your face. And then you cant see yourself properly because they dont have your prescription in the lenses, just some smeary glass or plastic rubbish. Sorry not very helpful is it!! Drag your BF alon, and make him tell you which look good!
Love my transition lenses!!

I just got prescription lenses and got these kick ass Gucci frames. I have sweet ass insurance so I didn't have to pay nearly the asking price. There are some really good frames nowadays. Good luck, and I hope that it gets fixed. I had a fucked up problem, but not like that.

Having a friend with you is good. Where I went, the one girl there was clearly an expert and helped me immensely.

I think we have a similar face shape - oval face, high cheekbones, deep-set eyes. I like the thick plastic square-ish frames on me. Mine are a dark red color that kinda goes with my hair, and they have a little bit of blue on the outer edges that goes with my eyes. ha. They cost about $200 at one of those frame chain stores that does the buy 1 get 1 free deal. So I got that and another for sunglasses. Not bad.
Everyone seems to love my glasses![]()
Oh - why can't you wear glasses at work? I always wear mine, never contacts.
Anyway, pics of the regular glasses and the prescription sunglasses.

Yep I wear those at work. I've never worn contacts, eyes too sensitive. I'm so used to wearing glasses now I feel naked without them anyway. heh
>ETA: With the oval-shaped face I think you can pretty much get away with anything. I've tried more rounded styles though and I just don't like the way they look on me. Besides, I think the square shape is more in-style and modern-looking.

You will definitely find something that looks great on you. I used to be the same way, never wore sunglasses because I could never find a pair that I thought didn't make me look like an alien. It just took a good search.![]()
I didn't mean, like THAT fucked up. I meant they were FUCKED up, just in a different way.
They were $220. My insurance pays 120 and then 20% of the balance. If I get my glasses tomorrow or Thursday I'll post a pic of them. Maybe I can even find a model number. I can't wait to get them! I've been avoiding reading for almost 5 years now!!!!
Here are my glasses from today. I didn't let E fully process the pics because I knew you were in hurry. That made him mad...but I said he had to deal with it. So pretend you don't see the umbrella

I like 'em. And your little dog too.![]()
That's my Nina we call her Bug. She just turned one. I was trying to get my male in the pics but he was scared of the flash. He's a scardey dog though...LOL

Awww. I love dogs. Much more than people lol.
Me too...HAHAHAHA
I'm a big fan of thick plastic frames personally. I am tough on my glasses and wire frames always bend with me. Go to somewhere like Lens crafters and just try on everything. Seriously. Some glasses look crazy weird on display but when you try them on you get a 'DAMN! I look hot!' feeling when you look in the mirror.
Also spend the extra $$ and get the glare free/scratch resistant lens. It's soo worth it.
Believe it or not... Sears actually has nice glasses. Good prices too. They have a lot of buy 1 get 1 free sales. Normally around sun glass season and back to school. Since it is Sears they don't have Gucci or anything.. just the basics. Revlon, CK, and Spongebob/Barbie if you have a small head!![]()
That laser eye surgery is always an option if you can't find any glasses or don't like the way you look in them. In the long run it is probably cheaper. I have been buying 1-2 pairs of glasses every year since I was 12 or 13. So that's like $400+ per year for 10 years. Which should be about as expensive if not more as the eye surgery depending on where in the world you live or where you want to go!
Yours are Dolce and Gabana, mine were Gucci. But I REALLY like them. Mine are black, and are yellow on the inside.
^^By that I meant I really like yours.

Joplin- are your pupils still different sizes like in the picture you posted? Or was that just for that day? You're not having headaches or throwing up, are you?
I know I sound super concerned (blame it on my nursing classes LOL) but having varying sizes of pupils can indicate a neurological condition and is nothing you want to mess with.
