    Default so f#$%ing frustrated

2 months. Just over 2 months of this nonsense.

Some cunt stepped on my foot in the dressing room 2 months ago. I was getting dressed at the end of my shift and her stiletto stepped on my foot, slanding smack on the center of my big toe. It slipped to the side, taking out a chunk of skin. Great. It didn't hurt too much at first, I cleaned it up and kept it clean/topical shit on it, etc.

It proceeds to get infected anyways.

This infection gets completely debilitating in 3 days. I go to the doctor. 150 bucks for the first pop. It sucks graduating and then not being eligible for your parents insurance anymore. What an awesome reward. The doctor cleans it up, the infection had by then caused a shitload of "proud flesh" which covered exactly HALF of my friggin' nail. I mean it when I say the pain was debilitating. Searing hot shooting sharp pain from the slightest movement. The ceiling fan made me want to cry. They zapped the shit with some silver nitrate and sent me on my merry way.

Well, it never fully got rid of the proud flesh, and my nail basically became ingrown because the nail edge was keeping the wound open and it just stayed infected. I was on antibiotics and I took them religiously, down to the hour, for the entire time I was supposed to.

I had to go back 2 more times (another 150, and then a 220 bill) until they eventually just cut out half of my nail. About a week and a half after that I was better. I was out of work for a MONTH. 30 days, unable to work. I gradually made it back, was completely ok for a week and a half and then I get sick: Flu, inner/outer ear infections in both ears, bronchitis, this is about a 200 doc visit that time. I get better after about a week...

Now my foot is infected again, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE NAIL. WTF>!!>>!!> The only thing that will make it better is going back to the doctor, paying another 200 bucks for them to cut off the other half. Fucking Great. So not only am I being set back again (yay, it's also rent time!) I'm not gonna be able to work after they cut out my nail.

I just want to crawl in a hole somewhere and die. I don't know what to do.

Take that bitch to small claims court?

Ugh. I'm so sorry you're still dealing with this. I really hope you're all better after this next procedure.

It was some trashy girl I have never seen before, never seen since. I think she was from Houston. I would eat her babies, but then I'd prolly just get sick again.

Wow. Sounded like an accident. That really sucks that you have to be out of work that long. Shit happens though. That's the problem with this world everyone wants to blame everybody else for dumb ass shit.

This girl didn't care. I didn't make a big deal about it, I was already leaving and I jsut thought it was a little cut. It wasn't till a couple of days later that it got bad.

But seriously, if you step on someone with your fucking stilleto, you'd stop to like, check it out right? She just kept walking and said "sorry" without even turning her head back to look at me.

Garlic is an incredible topical antibiotic. They used it in WWII when they ran out of chemical antibiotics, and it's even used to cure gangrene. Just something to try before going back to the doctor...

I don't give a shit about the girl.

I'm just fucking frustrated that this shit has been lingering for so long. The trash that stepped on me was not the focus of the post.

Searing unending pain on the other hand, was.

Take a clove of it and smash it a little, then tape it to the infected area. Eat a clove or two (raw), too. Check it and change it every 2-4 hours as long as the infection is acute, then every 8-12 hours.

(This is not medical advice. I'm not a doctor. Etc.)

You can also go to a feed store if you are not allergic and get the injectable penicillin. I am not a doctor either aand have heard that it works for humans too. I am not saying do it, just it's a possibility. Antibiotic should cost $15-$20. You'll probably have to buy a needle too which you should be able to. You can also order online from cattle and poultry suppliers.

taking penicillin without doctor direction is EXTREMELY dangerous in the long term. it's one of the reasons we have antibiotic resistant infections in the first place.

It'll taste bad. Don't cook it. The antibiotic in garlic (allicin) is activated when you chew or crush it, and it's killed by cooking. Just chomp it once and swallow it whole with a chaser. Using it topically is probably enough, but doubly whammy never hurts.

I agree with you mia. They have other stuff available. That's for an extreme emergency. It's an idea. I am by no means advising it. I agree. Our super bugs are caused by over antibiotic consumption. What about some peroxide? I killed my warts injecting food grade diluted peroxide into them. Hurt like a bitch, but it did the trick. Again I am NOT a physician. I am an individual with health problems and sucky insurance.

Um, can I just chop it up and crush it and eat it with spaghetti and olive oil? It won't be cooked, but I'm a giant puss when it comes to eating bad things.

I should totally smoke a bowl then eat it. Maybe it will taste good?

Peroxide doesn't help. It kills the healthy along with the bad, which just ends up prolonging the problem. I learned this after using peroxide in conjunction with povidone iodine for 3 weeks straight cuz that's what the idiot first doctor told me. SWEET!

Oh, yeah, you can do that. I guess it just never occured to me to put that much effort into it.

BTW, Garlic is antibactierial too, and there's even some evidence that it might kill anthrax. It's so awesome.
