    Default shitaki noodles (spelling)

    Only 20 cals a serving!

They are made of yam paste and are very good if you rinse them enough. I either mix veggies with them or add some kind of vegan butter to them....

Shouldn't they be called yam noodles if they are made from yams instead of the mushroom? I would still like to try it. My favorite noodle right now is soba.

I wanted to try these forever because I LOVE noodles but the calories add up. I finally found them at an asian grocery store by my my house yesterday, after I had been debating on whether I should pay twice as much at heavenlydietstore.com. yay.

    yes thats correct.
and its the tofu shirataki noodles that have 20 calories per serving/40 calories per package. shirataki noodles made with yam only manage to have 0 calories but apparently are only good in asian dishes, not as a pasta substitute.
