    Default Charles Manson

Eeeewwww, creepy! I had bad nightmares for a long time after reading "Helter Skelter" and the memories are starting to come back!

He made an album... You can listen to one of his songs at that link.

He should have been put to death by stabbing long ago. That devil deserves no praise.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

^I didn't like it. I saw some positive comments on that page but... it sounded like he was stuck in some sort of time-warp. Which isn't surprising if you were locked up in solitary for... how long ago now? It creeped me out extra-bad since the song kind of reminded me of the Beatles.

He's had a positive influence on me though. LSD is the only drug I refuse to try.

The album was recorded in 1968, that's why it sounds like he's in a "time warp".

    Charlie! I love his music!

He actually never did any of the murders at the Tate house. The only reason he's been locked up for so long is because people are afraid of him. There is really no reason for him to be in prison for so long. Tex Watson was physically responsible for murdering people that night and he is now allowed to roam free.

^Are you joking? He started a cult and TOLD people to do that... He told people to murder others as well. He put drugs in someone's hamburger to kill her when she wanted out. That's at least second-degree murder on many accounts, right? The court assigned him the death penalty. The only reason he's still alive is because of technicalities.
As for Tex... I'm definatly not for him roaming free.

    yea..umm second that opinion.
it's not a technicality. california did away with the death penalty

then he's just a really freaking smart dude if he convinced someone else to murder someone.

anyhow, i'd actually love to see him in real life. i think i may be too frightened to talk to him but you guys, i love crazy people. LOVE. they are the only ones that are truly "real" to me. even if it's drugs that bring it out of someone.

[[ and by crazy, i mean people who aren't all there. i know i'm def not all there. ]]

He's... something... Isn't it crazy how people can create cults like that?! I've actually considered seeing him myself... but I decided against it. I think I'd either be freaked out or dissapointed. It's not exactly the most disgusting thing that has ever happened (thank you, all you other freaks)... But, there's just something about it... I couldn't even begin to get into it.

I don't see how telling another grown person to murder someone counts as murder? The people who did the murders were more than capable of saying "no". I think it was more Tex who told the girls to do what they did. It was a constant pissing match between all the men at Barker Ranch. I think that Tex did what he did to try and take control of the women and take the focus off Charlie.
I don't know anything about Charlie putting drugs in the hamburger. They were all vegetarian from what I understand.
I still say Charles Manson is a political prisoner.

You dont have to be smart to influence easily influenced people.

Edit: Also would be just as cool if he was called Timothy Pinksbottom.

Charles Manson is certifiably criminally insane. Thats why hes still locked up. Not to mention that hes still alive to be studied.

He didnt just tell people to kill. He used drugs and brainwashing to make these people believe he was the GOD DAMMED MESSIAH!! They were NOT capable of making decisions for themselves at that point they were so fucked up by him(not that I dont think they had issues to begin with...they were not innocent).

I'm sorry...but anyone arguing that this piece of human garbage should be out on the street really bothers me.

They werent all vegetarian...heres the hamburger story:

You can't kill people with acid! Any hippy knows that. Although it was a fucked up thing to do, that was hardly an attempted murder, and Manson was definitely not responsible for that!

Should they lock schizophrenics up in prison, or should they put them in hospitals where they receive treatment? I don't think he should be out walking the streets because I do think he's a bit nuts (you would be too if you spent most of your life in prison) but I don't think he belongs where he is. I don't know how many other people actually commit manslaughter and violent rape and still get free at some point in their lives. He is simply a charismatic schizophrenic and was not even present at the Tate murders. That's all I'm saying.

I agree that he should be in psych treatment...and he probably is. But the fact that he IS charismatic and smart makes it difficult. He'd still have to be in a maximum security psych ward for the rest of his life and well...he might as well stay where he is then.

And no I dont think all schizophrenics should be locked up in prison. But the ones that have commited heinous crimes(and he facilitated and brainwashed people into the Tate murders..it was HIS idea, his organization..wouldnt have happened without him. Like the planes wouldnt have flown into the towers without Bin Ladin...but we should still lock his ass up forever or kill him sine he was the one ultimately at fault)SHOULD be.

He goes up for parole quite a lot and every time he proves that he is still insane, still homicidal and still a danger to society. Thats why he never gets out.

^ as he's stated before. It's safer for him to be in prison where there is food and shelter. Then for him to be living outside of the system. He isn't capable of getting a job, nor an apartment. So what would he able to do? Exactly what he had done before. Lived as a vagabond. Our society now isn't as open as it was in the 60's and 70's to hitchhikers and squatters. He would just end up in jail. Or a victim of the elements (given his age)

People creating cults. Well, you have on one hand how the world was during those years. The Yippies and the war. As well as the flower children and the desire for peace all around. Youth, were breaking free of their suburbain bonds and Catholic up bring to seek out a lifestyle that allowed them freedom. Expressing anti war feelings and questioning your religion wasn't welcomed in the slightest. Finding a group of like minded people who were into the same thing, and living with them was considered a CULT. Even more so in those days, as your looks stereotyped you to start with.

He didn't go out seeking to create a "cult". I don't believe that was ever stated anywhere by him or his friends. The term was used by the cops. It was used to instill mass fear and make us all "conform" a bit more because our nation was starting to think for itself. People weren't taking the war laying down. It scared a lot of people. The word cult was thrown around a LOT to invoke fear in the public of listening to or befriending these "people". (mostly just hippies)

I just think it's really funny how influenced people are over what society shows him to be. Understand, he has mental issues. Understand none of us were there. And of course he's going to show himself as "crazy" because by being crazy he is not going to get past the parole board and he will remain somewhere safe and secure. He will be fed and clothed. He will get medical care as well.

If you don't buy into that, then take a minute and ponder...if he was capable of "convincing a roaming pack of adults" to kill people as so many believe, why couldn't he be capable of convincing a country that he's "too crazy" to be let out? He's an actor. A con artist. Not a homicidal maniac. The latter has never been proven. Don't you think with all our advanced science in DNA testing, that if he HAD killed someone it would be proven by now? He didn't. Tex Watson did.

Acid in a hamburger? Well, I know girls that condone visine in customers/ girls drinks. visine is proven to kill someone, LSD is not. Drugging isn't right either way. I know a lot of people be it on this board or in real life that have had a point in their life where they were in full throes of addiction. They will tell you that they had little to no control over their thoughts, emotions or ways. That they did things they now regret. Should they be punished based on their drug use?

This entire "manson cult" as coined by the MEDIA, was little more than a group of people completely fucked up out of their minds. Who looked to an older man who was a bit wiser in the years. Who wanted "freedom" from their home lives. Who sat around fucked up on drugs conjuring up ideals. It happens all the time. Just remember when this took place, what was going on in our society both politically and otherwise. Being a "hippie" a "yippie" or an ex con was basically a sentence in itself if you happened to be somewhere at the wrong time.

Were murders committed and innocent lives taken? Yes. Did all of those people that COMMITTED the murders go to prison? YES. Was someone a scapegoat due to past record(s), and place back into a system that failed him as it was? Yes.

IF you told someone in real life or on here, fuck off and to go jump off a bridge. And they did it. Are you guilty of murder for suggesting it?

Don't be scared of him, you guys. Men don't scare me anymore. He's just really sick, that's all. If you watch any documentaries of him in prison, he still denies any wrongdoing whatsoever. Even his ex-followers show great remorse for their crimes but he still refuses to take any accountability. Definitely really deranged, he has created his own reality for himself.

I'm not "scared" of Manson, lol. I just don't think that subersive cult leaders who encourage people to brutually murder should be out wandering the streets.

Furthermore, yes, if you tell somebody to kill somebody or pay them to, that's almost as bad (legally) as doing it yourself.
