I'm getting my hair done in a week, and it's going to have thin light highlights over dark black hair. Last time I tried to dye under my highlights, I could've sworn some of the black dye "bled" onto my highlights when I rinsed my hair, but I could've just been paranoid.
Anyhow, the stylist is going to dye under the highlights for me this time, but I don't want to have to keep going back each time to get the black re-done every couple of months.
How do you keep the dark from bleeding onto the light? I put my highlights into a bun on the top of my head last time when I rinsed out the dye, but usualy colored hair still bleeds the next 2, or so, times you wash it.
