Non-makeup ideas for hiding thigh scar

I had a huge mole removed right before I started dancing. The doctor said I would be left with a "very thin hairline scar." Yeah, well, actually I got a huge scar that is 1-1/2'' long and 1/4'' wide in the middle. Once it fades I won't mind but right now it's intensely dark red and unattractive.

I've spent over $70 on Dermablend, which I've been using every time I go to work, but I HATE IT. Not only does it add an extra 20 minutes to my getting-ready time, but it looks like shit. None of the colors match my skin so it looks like I have a bruise where the make-up is. That's not even a huge deal but when you get up close, you can see the scar is raised so it's an ugly, lumpy, discolored mess.

I want to be done with make-up so I'm looking for other ways to disguise the scar. It's right on my upper-inner thigh, which sucks cuz it's a sexyplace guys stare at, but a blessing because a lot of things can be worn around the thighs while the rest of you is naked. A couple things I have thought of are thigh-high fishnets/stockings with a thick top edge, or a regular 'ole garter (though I've never seen anyone at my club wear one.. it might inspire guys to want to tip in it onstage and I'm not sure if that's allowed). I've also considered something as simple as as wrapping a piece of ribbon or lace around my leg and tying it in a bow on the side. Would that look stupid? I think I might get asked about it a lot. Also having a band-like thing wrapped high around one leg seems oddly reminiscent of a Nazi armband or something. Does anyone else get that vibe or am I just trippin?

Any suggestions are appreciated. I want to mix it up as much as possible since I'll probably have to do this for the next year or so.

Thigh high stay-ups, or the thigh high socks from American Apparel. I had a scar on my outer thigh, right below my bum. I wore my stockings/socks right below my bum and guys loved it and my bum was accentuated more. Another idea, chaps, or a cute bandaid that coordinates with your outfit.

Forget I said to wear a bandaid. I just realized your scar is on your inner thigh.

Definitely look into opaque thigh highs, or the thigh highs with a thick band. Guys love them.

I have a thigh scar too, sounds similar to yours. Mine's on my outer thigh/almost butt, and I generally just leave it- it's clearly a scar, shit happens.

But when I want to cover it, I put a temp tattoo on it. That could work for you? It really depends how close to your junk the scar is...thigh highs are definitely the most obvious option, but they don't work if the scar is too high up (like mine).

It's pretty high, maybe only 3 inches below my crotch, and I'm tall, so it's hard to find thigh-highs that actually go that high. They'd wind up sitting right below my butt, but I'm gonna see what I can do.
