    Default Stripper Purse

So, I'm starting at a new club next week and all the dancers carry around the little purses(which, sorry, but I hate that lol.... but I'll carry one anyway) At my old club we carried our money in our garters. But anyways, I was wondering about size.... I noticed most girls carry either a clutch or something equally small, but I was wondering if something a little bigger would still look alright. I have a purse this size(click on link below) and I was wondering if that'd look okay? (I have a few colors..... basic look of that purse though)

imo it's too big and looks like a day purse. Are you trying to use at you already have/not spend much? There are some teeny purses perfect for work at Wal Mart for like 5 bucks. I got alot of my bebe clutches or purses for work off ebay for good prices too.

I use a hot pink bag I got form victoria secret. It came with perfume and I thought it was the perfect size for work. You could always use a big crown bag!

I use those little makeup bags you get for free at Victorias Secret or any makeup store when you buy makeup. They are small suttle and have a zipper but arn't like a miniature purse.

I don't think purses matter in some clubs. I've seen girls carry around the biggest, clunkiest yet still stylish "day purses" - baby phat and other brand names - and they still made money. Of course, this was in a little, private, lapdance club that was not classy at all. I referred to it as "raw," ...what you see is what you get type of club. The girls didn't bother much with their appearances (well maybe they did, but it didn't look like it), they mainly wore bikinis (no gowns/fancy stuff), no sparkly jewelry or eyelashes, etc. They still banked tho (well, half of them) - big purses or not.

In the club where I am now, I think most girls have small purses. It's more upscale and some girls even wear gowns. Small, dainty, pretty purses fit the look of the girls/club better than big bulky grandma purses.

Do what you feel most comfy doing. I know when I first started, all of us used to have LUNCHBOXES...yes...LUNCHBOXES with Barbie, Hello Kitty, Tweety Bird, etc...in a GOWN CLUB. We still made $$$, lunchboxes and all!

If it really bothers you, try carrying a big purse around sometimes and a little one around other times and see if it fx your earnings (even though, of course, other variables will affect how much you make) - you can get a general idea, tho.

I carry a wristlet, which is great for making sure I don't actually drop it. Also, when I've worn tiny purses over my shoulder custies make stupid comments. "What's that thing hanging on you?", "Are you leaving now?", "Oh, you have soooo much money you have to carry a PURSE for it all!", and on and on ad nauseum.
The first club I worked at that required the dancers to carry purses, I just used a small evening clutch that was leftover from a bridesmaid outfit (yay, I actually got to wear some of that ensemble again!!).
Most of the small purses, wristlets, clutches, etc. I've used since then have come from garage sales or thrift shops. People are always getting rid of those "special occasion" type things!

I have to vote for wristlet. I have worked in some whole the wall clubs and seen dancers carrying there big day purses and it looks tacky even in the shittest of clubs it just donent work. Your purse should not be bigger then your whole outfit is lol lol

yet another vote for the wristlet!

I had a great Coach one I got on sale... the thing was expandable and multicolored so it went with everything.

Yes, please don't use the k-mart purse... but if you must use a purse get a cute one that has a proper closure, not like a magnetic one some clutches have.

The purse I use at work is the same one I use during the day. It would be too much of a hassle to have to think about more than one! Plus we don't have lockers so I would rather have my "personals" out on the floor over my shoulder.
Really it should only matter what looks good on you and what you feel comfortable with. At our club every girls purse is different and you can tell how each one reflects her personality a little. We also have a couple of crown girls and a couple that do the garter thing. Our club is all about variety.

I'm a fan of the garters because then you know you can't lose your money(unless like it fell out somehow), but with a purse.... you could set it down, forget and just walk away

If you think you might forget about the purse, you should just use a garter.
I personaly would never use a purse, id forget about it and eventually someone would take it =/
I dont think guys really notice or care if your using a garter.
Again in my opinion, if your going to use a purse use something small, i dont like the way purses look that hang over the shoulder. Not for work.
