Default Purses, feases, and salmonella ewww

I just read this disturbing article

    http://www.propeller.com/viewstory/2...%2F&frame=true

"..nearly all of the handbags tested were not only high in bacteria, but high in harmful kinds of bacteria. In one sampling, four of five handbags tested positive for salmonella, and that’s not the worst of it. "There is fecal contamination on the handbags" says Amy. Leather or vinyl handbags tended to be cleaner than cloth handbags, and lifestyle seemed to play a role. People with kids tended to have dirtier handbags than those without,
with one exception. The handbag of one single woman who frequented nightclubs had one of the worst contaminations of all. "Some type of feces, or possibly vomit" says Amy."

    So I have 2 questions:
    1. How do you wash a purse?
    2. What do you do if you go into a bathroom with no hooks? A lot of bathrooms at school don't have hooks and I have a big back pack and a purse. What would you suggest I do to avoid putting them on the floor, or am I over reacting?

If there isn't a hook I just hold my purse on my lap and grab tp, them hold it in one hand while I wipe.

I refuse to put my purse on the floor, I paid too much for it, to do that.

this is exactly what i do too.

if it's my backpack, and it's too big to hold on my lap, i find some way to hang it on the side of the door or something.

LOL there was a lot of faeces in my old handbag once. LOL lets just say lots of alcohol and a box full of laxatives do not mix.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
