    Default What a night!

    Let's see...

To begin with, I got stiffed $60 on a lapdance. I get paid up-front for the first one and then will extend to a total of $100 before "taking a little break" to settle up. So I got paid $40 but did $100 worth of dances. Truthfully, it was my first dance of the night, and he was a nice guy who just got a bit carried away, so <shrugs>.

Then I did two dances (at $25 a pop) for this one MAJOR asshole. He was one of the mean ones, trying to force my head into his lap and telling me to give him head. So after two of those, I was ready to belt him. He refused to pay me the $25 for the second song!

    AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!

Okay, lesson learned. ALWAYS get 100% of your money up-front.

Then I get pissed so I change into my dominatrix outfit. I passed by the doorguy on the way to the bathroom and tapped him on the back with my whip. He turned around and I gave him a big grin and said, "I hit you with my whip!" and laughed. It was NOT a hit at all. He just kind of shrugged and turned back to the door. So I come out of the bathroom and this fat bitch says, "Look, you need to have a little more respect for me and my man (referring to the doorguy). Don't you EVER hit him with that whip again or I'll wrap it around your neck!" I just shrugged and walked off and ended up in the dressing room talking to my friend, and I made the mistake of calling the doorguy's girlfriend a fucking cunt, without realizing that another girl that just walked in is the doorguy's girlfriend's "girl". I tried to back-pedal as best I could, but then I saw the other dancer talking to the doorguy's bitch, so I know she was tattling on me. So I pretty much stayed away for the rest of the night and managed to avoid violence.

And THEN I was taking a break at the bar with another girlfriend of mine, and we leaned over and started talking in hushed tones about this other girl, P. The one girl asked me, "What is that stuff all over her pussy?" I said, "You mean the bumps?" She said, "Yes. It looks like herpes." I said, "I don't know what it is, but I certainly wouldn't want her to rub that all over MY face." (This dancer rubs her pussy and ass directly on guys' faces whenever they come up to tip her on-stage.) Then *I* am told about a half-hour later that a customer overheard that conversation and went to tell P. that I was spreading rumors about her having herpes! By the end of the night, it became clear that out of all the dancers there, P. had S. and F. on her "side", and I had S.B. and N. on my side. I changed and got out of the club before P. came back to the dressing room, but I'm still worried about what's going to happen the next time I work with her. In all fairness, she's already on probation for getting into two fights at our sister club (which is why she's at my club), whereas I've NEVER been in any kind of trouble at all, so if she wants to be stupid enough to throw a punch at me, she'll be fired. I kind of hope she WILL be--she's a skanky whore, and I'm tired of being in VIP next to her and watching her PUT the customer's hands on her boobs and place the custy's hands on her pussy and let the custy suck her tits and rub her crotch all over the customer's face and pull up the customer's shirt to suck on his nipples.

So in ONE night, I got stiffed $85 and almost got my ass kicked twice.

Wow, that's one shitty night. Hopefully the next shift you work will be better. And if that girls tries to start shit just leave and go explain the situation to the manager. It she throws a punch mollywop the bitch and then go explain the situation to the manager.

I'm sorry you had a bad day, but maybe this could be a lesson in staying away from drama and just WORKING while you are at work instead of worrying about what other girls are doing. I'm not trying to come off bitchy here but I think a lot of what went down could be avoided if you didn't gossip.
The scenario you described is the main reason I keep to myself. I'm polite but I don't talk shit. It will come back to bite you in the ass.
As for the customer pushing your head down into his lap, why did you keep dancing for him? Couldn't you tell a bouncer what was going on or at least not dance for him anymore?

Well at least you learned some valuable lessons tonight. Get your money upfront so you don't have any drama with customers. Don't talk about other dancers even to your friends at work! It's still gossiping when one of your friends is talking about someone else. If you don't want to deal with the drama that will follow just let everyone know you have to get back on the floor. Either way we all go through it! It's a easy trap to fall into.

Our bouncers don't really do a lot, and they wouldn't have done anything to this guy since he's a good friend of last night's manager. (Our other manager is really wonderful and won't let customers get away with that sort of thing, but last night's manager isn't that great.) And that's WHY I stopped dancing for him. I think I've said in another thread that I will almost never stop a dance early--I've done it twice, I think, in my 9 months of dancing. I've only seen another girl do it once. It's just not that common.

Oh, well... Now I know not to dance for that asshole again.

We don't have a choice. From what I've been told of our laws, lapdance payments are legally a "tip", and as a tip, they are entirely voluntary. Therefore, bouncers and managers are not permitted to help us collect our "tips" when we're stiffed. From a legal standpoint, that would be like stiffing a shitty waitress on a tip and having the manager come and threaten to beat you up if you didn't pay. It's just not allowed.

And the cops won't do anything either, because it's a "tip".

And the customers know this, too.

I agree with Alexxx on this one. You should be going to work to work not to gossip. Hopefully that is a lesson learned now though! Also you might want to gaurd what you say to anyone, even "friends", that you work with. It just might bite you in the ass.

    Yep.

And I completely agree about not getting involved in DR drama. Lesson learned.

I came home and told my fiance what happened. He said, "Well, it sounds like they were certainly over-reacting, but it also sounds like you were shooting off your mouth. You need to watch that." And I completely agree. But hopefully I can smooth things over. I'm debating on talking to the skanky girl... Basically apologizing, and etc. Or I may just ignore it. Don't know yet... I think I'll wait to see what the scuttle-butt is the next time I work.

You were thinking about moving, right? That's all a little scary and out of control sounding.
