Default back to work sat, after my ba, but problem

i'm planning on going back to work this saturday; i'm 3 & 1/2 weeks post op. financially i absolutely cannot wait any longer; i've had to borrow money from my parents for food and gas and i hate having to do that.
my problem is that on the side that i got the lift on my scar is still very very visible and there is a lot of puckering. i knew this was a possible problem but i absolutely had to have the lift done. i think that as it heals it will eventually look ok, but right now it still doesn't look very pretty. i'm not planning on going on stage, but i am planning on being able to do rooms, and our rooms are topless.
i'm wondering if in the dark of the rooms guys will really be able to notice the puckering and scars and if they do will they really care? i'm really nervous about it, but i have to go back.

also, to anyone on here who had a lift done, did you have puckering after? and if so did it ever fade? i'm using silicone gel sheeting on my incision but i'm wondering how much better it will get.
    thanks!

Trust me, no one will notice, and no one will care. I don't have a ba, but I have visible scarring on various parts of my body from cutting. I also know someone who has gigantic obvious scars.
Nobody will say anything, and if they do, just tell them the truth. It's not going to affect your earnings, and it won't be embarrassing. I really wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know if this is even possible, but if you put your silicone strips on the scar, could you put make up over that? I don't think puckering will be very noticeable at all if the scars are the same color as your skin.

As long as your scars are fully closed, I don't see how that would be a problem, I would ask you're doc though just in case

could u put skin colour tap over it?
my scars were pretty visible when i first came back and not a single person ever noticed. i didn't have a lift but my scars are under the fold of my breast.
i used bronzer too which helped to hide the scars.

I had a lift on both sides, and I know what you mean..I worry
My dr. said I could try makeup over strips. I got dermablend and I'm going to try it out with reg. clothes before I do with my outfits. I have to do stage..and I also financially go more than 3 weeks.
I have puckering, but I'm earlier than you to begin with. The pics I've seen the puckering goes away. Everyone's diff though.
    Dermablend...it's your friend I think
If you don't have money for it then use reg. makeup
I have a lot of dermablend to spare. If you're really in MD I could meet up and give you some to try and use if it works.

thanks for the offer ajbaer. i am in maryland. but i think i'm going to try and see how noticeable it is in the dark of the room. can i ask what you have over your incisions now? like to help with healing. i don't mind the scars honestly, i just really don't like the puckering. my one nipple looks normal and the 1 with the lift looks like franken-nipple. it worries me

I'm using scarguard from my dr. over my incisions. There's nothing else over them. You paint it on once daily let dry, take it off with tape before you shower the next day and redo. It's expensive, but i don't think I would have had results this soon with something over the counter or vit E.
It's already working on the scarring. Not sure about the puckering though. I don't think that that will be noticable. If not, let me know...I'm willing to share.

i just feel like my incision is taking so long to heal; it's like i have one normal nipple and one fucked up looking one! plus he didnt manage to keep it perfectly roung, so it's a diff shape and i don't know, i just hate it, it makes me think i'll never be able to stage work again! ajbaer do you have and pics of your incisions? i'd like to see someone elses so i can compare and see if i'm healing fast enough. if you're not comfortable with that i understand, but you could always PM me.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I have seen girls hide post ba scars for a little while by wearing a bikini top, and not taking the top all the way off. Instead, they slide the bikini part to the side so that it covers up part of the side of the breast. You could try that depending on where the scars are.
