Default can Advil and Wine mix?

I took one advil tablet(200 mg) but i forgot i wanted to drink wine tonight. Not an excessive amount of wine, but i might go to a particular restaurant i like, where i usually order wine, the small portion of red wine is a quarter liter. Can they be mixed?

I've done it before and I was fine. Though I'm sure to some extent it can cause liver or kidney damage.

I wouldn't get drunk, but a small amount of wine should be OK. Besides it's not like you're doing it everynight. I'm sure there COULD be some acute non-threatening damage, but if you're like me it's really not a problem. I don't drink much and up until the BA didn't really take pain relievers. Hope that helps.

I think it can be harmful to the lining of your stomach or your kidney and liver. Just don't make a habit of it.

You only took half of a regular dose of advil. You should be fine.

They can but not excessively. If you have a sensitive stomach or have ever had stomach bleeding the alcohol and ibuprofen (Advil) aren't a good mix.

If you took it at noon, and you are going to only have a small portion tonight, I think that you'll be alright.

Not dangerous to mix one ibuprofen tablet and a glass of wine. It's dangerous to take them both at high levels regularly and simultaneously.

Sure they can, but I much prefer to mix wine and vicodin.

    ^^^

Now that's dangerous, not because of the opiate but because of the acetaminophen. There is a microscopic risk, every time you mix acetaminophen (tylenol) with alcohol, of total liver failure. It's not a large risk unless drinking heavily, but IMO any risk is too much.

Googling this, I found out there are hazards associated with caffeine + acetaminophen, too:
