    Default Blood shot eye?

My eye looks like the pic on the right, and it's been that way for almost a month now. I thought it was because I wear my contacts constantly, so I started taking them out every night before bed and only wearing them on days I work, which is only 1-2 times a week. the rest of the time I wear glasses. But my eye isn't healing. When I put on makeup it gets a lot worse.

Anyone have a clue whats wrong with my eye or how to fix it? I'm going to see the eye doc on Monday I guess....

Usually eye trauma of some sort like a hit to the eye. My friend was hit in the eye, which resulted in a broken blood vessel and it lasted a LONG time. THere was nothing she could do.

KEEP THE CONTACTS OFF FOR TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT AT LEAST AND MAKE SURE THEY'RE A NEW PAIR.

Happened to me. It was my contacts giving me an eye infection. I almost went blind. SEE A DOCTOR.

This happened to me, only it was a bit bigger than the pic. Mine was from a coughing fit (I've broken ribs and sprained my diaphragm too, chronic bronchitis). Mine was not painful and didn't last months. I'd suggest keeping the contacts out and your eyes clean so no eyeliner etc, but I'm not an opthamologist, one of whom you should see.

^ Thanks, I plan on it...I have a lot of trouble with my eyes, I get pink eye and styes and eye infections constantly.

It doesn't hurt, but my eyes water constantly. I have missed many days of work just because I was unable to put on eye makeup. It all washes off as soon as I put it on cause my eyes water so much. I wonder if i need to switch to hypo alergenic eyemakup.

Mine water alot sometimes for no reason but I don't get many infections (I have a strong immune system, so even though I'm almost always sick somehow it's very rarely an infection). I don't know why, I'll wear the same makeup for months and then one day it'll sting and water like hell, then it doesn't the next day and I haven't worn contacts in years. It'll be interesting to see what the doc says. Good luck.

Could be computer eye/video game eye. Sometimes that can happen if you spend too many hours staring at the screen. Staying away from the computer+visine will clear it up in a day or two.
