Default t-shirt... ha...? indulge my boredom! indulge it!

    well.

    you know.

    http://www.tshirthell.com/store/prod...?productid=330

    i mean.

    its true-ish.

most of the dancers i know -are- single mothers.

this reminded me of the shirt i want to screenprint for folk. on the front it would say "STRIPPERS" and on the back it would say "WILL FUCKING KILL YOU" with some sort of stiletto heel design going on somewhere. just cause i have seen so many dancers plant-heel so many customers. good lord.

(okay, not "so many" customers but seeing it actually happen really sticks with a kid...)

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.

    i mean obviously.

i hope you did not think i bought into the implication there.

i can be foolish sometimes, but not that foolish.

well, sometimes i can, but usually only when my ADD is acting up hardcore.

kind of like it is today. (super sick and in pain, adderall does not mix well with tramadol... creates, like, hypernausea like you would not believe)

today is apparently a day in which i am not rad. :-|

i crawl back under the blankets now...

(that said: i actually do really appreciate single mothers provided they are not abusive or neglectful or anything. both my adopting mother and my biological mother are single mothers, and i will likely be one as well should i ever be in a financial position where adopting is accomplishable, etc etc etc ... so it did not occur to me that it might be a negative stereotype ... i swear i will close my mouth just as soon as i pull my foot out of it)

T Shirt Hell cracks me up. I've danced for numerous guys with that shirt on though. I want the one that says "Who needs tits? (on the front) when you have an ass like this (on the back)" I swore I was going to stop wearing silly saying shirts though. I just threw out my "I want to be Barbie that bitch has everything" shirt that I've had since like 7th grade.

Still contemplating which Baby Hell shirt to get for my preggers friend.

Don't go hide under the blankets...you crack me up

    no no.

was not sarcastic, unfortunately. (but thank you for the vote of confidence!)

what i meant was: many of the strippers who i know personally and in real space (not through the internet) with whom i spend any amount of real world time, happen to be single mothers who would appreciate the humor behind that particular item. but that would be a pretty small group of people too. i was definitely not trying to generalize, though, even if it did unfortunately come out sounding like a generalization.

    um.

    basically... like...

if i said: most of the trans people i know are sex workers.

sounds like a reinforcement of the stereotype that trans folk are all prostitutes and so forth, even though in my own personal case it just happens to be a factual statement concerning the specific group of trans people with whom i spend my real life time. gaaah... i dunno if i am making anything more clear. BASICALLY, if i accidentally reinforced a stereotype which people dislike by talking about the people i know in less-than-clear terms then i am really super sorry. for definitely.

i put my foot in my mouth on this one and i am sorry for that.

(oh and kat: i needs my blankets. i needs them. i have had a 101 degree fever for since yesterday with my normal temperature running at 97.5 degrees and everything is freezing unless i am burrowed beneath my three favorite comforters, high on pain killers, with my cranky old lappy top... i wish i could have days like this without the fever though, that would be awesome... burrowed in bed for like two days in a row but healthy... that would be rad)

I have the 'Support Single Mom's' shirt. I did a booking at a club that gave them out when the dancers did promotions on Friday and Saturday nights, so they let me have one. I sleep in it.

I want one that says 'Tip or Die'. I know someone who has it, but I've never seen it anywhere.

Can someone explain this to me? I don't get it....

    Women of color:
Shake your ass and preserve your heritage.
    Bang those fucking drums.
Do it for the present and future generations.
Have fun and stick it to the man at the same time.

^ It's 'funny' because the second part has no correlation to the first part...angry boy non-sequitur humour.

My favourite joke when i was little was "why do women wear makeup and perfume?" "Because they're ugly and they stink!". Bwahaha.

I have with a similar design that says "Support the Performing Arts" I love it. It gets me odd looks at the gym, but who cares...
