I came across this in my recent obsessive viewing of childbirth videos on YouTube & thought it was fascinating to see it broken down so cleanly & clearly. This is what happens in a textbook 'normal', vaginal, physiological & spontaneous birth. Amazing to see that, if not interfered with, the baby's body really does rotate back & forth to get around the pelvic bones, just as shown!
I'm finding it helpful to visualize this happening with me; thought it might help other impending laborers too. (Now if only I can get it to happen in the same 60 second timeframe . . .) Perhaps I'll play the same Bach cello suite.![]()
