Thread: pookie you are the POTW

Default pookie you are the POTW

It runs from Sunday to Sunday so when it is your turn to be POTW you will be in the spotlight for a whole week.

Everyone can ask questions and it is up to the POTW to decide if they would like to answer them. Some questions may be too personal and that is fine - you don't have to answer everything.

This thread is not an appropriate forum to settle old scores or to flame. Do not bait the POTW with questions that bring up past transgressions. Please spin-off if you feel the need but let's keep this thread fun and supportive.

On Friday of each week I will PM the current POTW and ask them to choose the next person. The POTW can choose anyone who asked a question on their thread that week and someone, preferably, who has not been chosen in the past year. If you do not wish to be POTW you can still ask questions, just let the current POTW know that you do not want to be chosen for the next week (for instance, you will be out of town).

Will you give up the anal for:

    a) hashbrowns?
    b) the mere mention of hashbrowns?
    c) any sentence containing any of the letters of "hashbrowns" in any order?

Alternate question if answering prior to breakfast:

    What is your favourite breakfast?

    1. CHEESE!!!!!! animals..... Ren Faire

    2. chocolate for sure!!! The only hard candy i prefer over chocolate would be cock.

    3. Hmmm..... Not sure what to say here. First person I fell in love with.. or first person that dated thought I loved? If its the first person I fell in love with for the first time (only time i consider to be 'in love') would be my current boyfriend for sure. My first serious relationship, was with a different guy, tho. I really thought I loved him at the time. But now that I look back on it, it really can't compare to with the current bf.

No. I have not made any drunk posting recently. You would notice for sure because there would probably be mention of anal or hashbrowns

    Gelato: better than ice cream?
    1. I like Germany a lot. its so diverse. I really still can'T get used to 95% of things being closed on Sunday. But i like all the bakeries and there is a Greek food restaurant near the flat that I love to eat at.

    2. Yes I have been to Oktoberfest. Its a fun and funny experience. I didn't get drunk there, coz I don't like beer, but it was so fun watching drunks and hanging out with them.

    3. I don't like the fact that i fell i am wasting opportunity that has been presented to me back in the states. My friends keep sending me stuff to do with them and entertainment jobs and its so frustrating i am missing them. I feel like I am wasting my talent away.

    4. Well, the road tripped countries i have gone to would be Austria and France. Austria for a wedding and France because we went to Europa Park. Europa Park is in Germany, but also on the French border. So we went to France for a couple of hours.

I have been to other countries. Italy was the first country I visited out out the USofA. I have also been to Mexico twice. Once performing on a cruiseline with a college group and once for a Easter vacation. And then London for a flight layover.....

    5. Gelato is definitely yummier than most ice cream. But i really love ice cream. Anything that is ice cream related. I will eat tons of.

probably for all a, b, and c......... But not permanently. I like Anal only once in a while. I have to be in the right mood. Sometime even a drunken mood.

My favorite breakfast... Would consist of Eggs and hashed browns. I like Del Taco Egg and cheese burrito and the Hashed brown sticks. I usually end up order extra hashed brown sticks

I danced one night in a SC. They pay dancers to be there and there are no fees. But you are expected to sell drinks, champagne. I am not dancing in Germany. I i wanted to i would have to get a work permit, and the work permit would be in my passport. I decided i didnt want that to be in my passport so i decided not to dance. Plus i like too snuggle with the bf at night. If went back to america i might start dancing again, but i really don't know.

Yes there are lots of them here. Many people use public transportation instead of cars over here.

Yes people to wear them here, they are not considered costumes, but they are not everyday wear either. Mostly for parties and Oktoberfest. Many stores sell them. Girl don't normal wear Lederhosen, they would wear a Dirndl instead.

    ok serious question.....

I read/watched that Germany has a big solar/renewable energy policy....that being said, I assume the cost of living is slightly higher, but, do you think the increase in cost of life justifies the renewable energy policy?....do you notice a difference?

Yes its true. Lots of people have solar panels on their roofs. When they do this is saves and creates energy. My bf told me that people who have them get money back from electric company or something.

I dont think the cost of life has everything to do with the solar stuff. Berlin is 3 times cheaper than Munich. Munich is just the most expensive place to live especially in if somebody lives directly in the city. People who live in country have it a bit cheaper.

I imagine that i wont live in Germany forever. I just don't see it that way. I dont know when i will be coming back to the states tho. I want to come back to the states but i am hesitant because of all the crap going down. The economy. ugh. But even with that being crappy it prolly wont stop me.

Nope. I think that is more of an American thing to do than a European thing to do.

    ---

Its always so amusing to see American tourists who are having their first time in Germany. Its interesting to step back and back some of the obnoxious habits. I think i have been germanized.

Like when you're in a pub and you know the one person/people talking obnoxiously loud over everyone else is American?

^^^^ Yes!!! Americans are certainly guilty of this. I also found that English speaking tourists from other countries are loud too. But there is nothing like the ignorances of an American stepping off US soil for the first time. lol. Its funny tohear them on the S-bahns too!

I tried the German wine while I was there on business. Have you? What do you think of it? I'm not a beer person, I'll leave those questions to someone else.
