I took a break from dancing for a couple of months, and have since returned, and started consistently meeting my daily objectives at work, and often exceeding them. During my time off, I developed a passion for bubble baths with candles, tea and a book. I have been reading into sales strategies and techniques, and have taken a different angle since returning to work in March.
Even these simple steps have made a huge difference:
1) Go to work KNOWING how much you are going to make ( make it realistic, but challenging)
2) Make eye contact with everyone.
3) Smile, and stay enthusiastic.
I am also trying out some projective body language and NLP techniques, and influence strategies. It makes me smile, almost to the point of laughing sometimes when I stare into the eyes of whomever is my current target, and watch them go into a trance. lol
I don't want to dictate, I only hope that this might be helpful- although the much of the source of my inspiration to further develop my skills in the trade have come from reading previous threads on SW![]()
Oh! and the best one, is greeting the clients that come into the bar. SImply saying welcome to bar and making a polite introduction, has pursueded some to come to me and ask me to dance, in a SC where that traditional does not experience such occurences.
I wish I would've known to do that before.![]()
