    Default I'm Nervous!

Well Deja Vu contacted me through myspace, funny enough, and gave me the managers number and said that I could set up an audition. I don't feel ready AT ALL! I actually told my mom that I'm going to be working in a love boutique (lol) and asked her if she could help me by some body make-up to cover my flaws. She happily agreed, so that's happening on Tuesday. I dunno, I just still feel so flabby it's making me nervous to think that with one phone call I could be shaking my floppy lady parts in no time. Eeeeek, I've been trying to make it to the gym but apparently not fast enough! OMG I'm soooo nervous!!!! Deja Vu seems to be the type of club that hires the more tone and skinny dancers, but I've "heard" that the more normal looking girls also get hired. Anyone here ever dance at Deja Vu? What is your opinion? I also hear that the current manager is an ass, but I'm sure a lot of places are like that. I really don't expect to like the people I work with.... or should I??

It's a common sentiment around the board that Deja Vu sucks ass to work for. I'd do a search and read up before agreeing to work there.

And it really is best to keep to yourself when you work. You're not there to make friends, and with the competitive atmosphere, there will be a lot of cattiness and drama. Best to just stay out of it by only being polite and civil, but not trying to befriend anyone.

So I hear! Then I'll just try my luck at Omars first. It is less "classy" than Deja Vu supposedly, but even so I hear much better things about it from customers. And if Omars gets more customers than Deja Vu, who cares about it's appearence! From what I've researched Omars is a tad cheaper, but unlike DV they have table dancing, which sounds REALLY fucking fun! And I hear that the girls are friendlier, but like you said, I am not there for friends lol.

In fact, I had my first taste of stripper drama this morning! I'm usually a really easy-going person, but when I make an enemy they fucking know about it. Well, I wont go into too much detail, but there is a stripper who works at Deja Vu (or so I was told), and it was out of the question for me to work there if she was there, so I flat out contacted her this morning and asked her if she still worked there.

She denied even being a stripper, she started talking shit about me trying to sound witty. She told me to "go to school" instead of stripping LMAO. I told her I am a full time student, actually, and I've always wanted to be a stripper, so I threatened that I better never see her at Deja Vu or I'd be the curvy naked bitch in high heels running after the skinny bitch in the parking lot LOL. God, so yeah, I normally am not a dramatic person AT ALL but that bitch is an exception.

Oh well! I'm proud of myself for dealing with her head on. Now she knows where I stand and if I do see her at Deja Vu (if I even try out there) I'll just give her a sexy wink, and then day dream about slicing her neck and use that energy in my dance.

Even if Deja Vu looks nicer, I hear they take an enormous cut from dances, and charge exorbant fees for the silliest things. You might do better at Omar's, depending on the housefee structure.
