Default A couple of Q's for travelling dancers!

Well, my ex gets my kiddos for two WHOLE months this summer, so I figured I'd do a bit of travelling dancing since I'm going to be kid-free. I e-mailed my pics & info to three clubs in ND/SD and I'm going to mail it to about three more this week (some want actual PICS, not e-mailed photos). I got replies from two of the three I e-mailed to, saying basically that I'd be welcome. So, I guess I'm ACTUALLY going to do this!!! )

So anyways, a couple of questions for travelling dancers. I know some of this has already been covered in previous posts, but just a couple more questions:

So I e-mailed these places and gave them a very rough timeframe I'm looking to go in (late June-July, about 4-6 weeks), and they both replied to tell me that as of right now, they're completely open on bookings. So I want to plan my route so that I'm not back-tracking and I'm minimizing travel time between clubs. So when I have my actual dates, do I just call them and tell them what dates I want for their club? Or should I call them and let them know I got their e-mail?

Another thing that has me a little worried is that I'm going to have to seriously change a few things. Down here, we're most definitely high-mileage, and some of the clubs I'm looking at seem to be airdance-only. I'm actually looking forward to trying out some new clubs, but I'm VERY nervous.

Aside from the obvious stuff that's been covered before, can anyone tell me kind of what to expect on the circuit? I know a lot of this was already covered, but I'm really getting a bit nervous now.

I can contact all my exes at once by drawing a pentacle on the floor, sacrificing a ram, and shouting "Hail Satan". Convenience is a must.

North Dakota, you wouldn't happen to be going to the Northern would you? That's the only one that I've been to but it's awesome. There are several threads on here about it, you'll learn everything you need to know.

South Dakota is generally heavy two way contact. North Dakota is one way, or less, depending on where you are. You should probably plan your route and get your bookings soon.

Don't be nervous. These are mostly tiny clubs that have 4-6 dancers a night, and they will adore you just because you are new and from Texas.

So far, I'm planning on the Northern and Envy Minot. I'd like to add Scarlett O'Hara's to that, along with a few other clubs.

What places in Minnesota book travelling dancers?

The manager at Scarlett's is an asshole but the club is nice. Not all clubs in SD are contact clubs. Try the Kongo Club in Mitchell, SD, I work there now and then. It's nude and it's good money.

You can always come and work with me! Summer time is prime time where I work. They only pay 2 girls a week but can have up to 8 girls. I'll send you a PM.

This whole adventure is just a bit overwhelming to me. I mean, I've worked in Amarillo with local clubs, and I've been really hesitant and kind of scared about venturing outside my "comfort zone". And I've been a bit worried about applying with some of these clubs, because I guess I just wasn't sure that I was pretty enough to actually do travelling dancing. I mean, it's one thing to be allowed to work at some divey local club, but actually being selected and booked at a club that hosts a lot of travelling dancers? That's another thing entirely! So the fact that I've gotten a couple of yes'es is REALLY cool!

I'm waiting to hear back from Kongo Klub, and hopefully I'll hear from Boji Nights soon.

I'm actually planning on it! Okay, here's my tentative plan; any advice or input is appreciated:

June 1st (Sunday)-Travel to Boji Nights in Iowa (14 hour trip)
June 2nd-8th-Work Boji Nights (I'm still waiting to hear back on this club)
June 8th-Haven't decided yet... Either another week at Boji Nights or possibly a week at Paddy McMurphy's, just depending...
June 9th-15th-Either Boji Nights or Paddy McMurphy's (haven't heard back on either)
    June 15th-Travel to Mitchell, SD
June 16th-22nd-Kongo Klub (haven't heard back yet; should know something today or tomorrow)
    June 22nd-Travel to Fargo, ND
    June 23rd-29th-The Northern in Fargo
    June 29th-Travel to Minot
    June 30th-July 13th-Envy in Minot
July 13th/July 14th-Travel back home to Amarillo (two-day trip)
    July 14th-19th-Week off
July 20th-Travel to Dallas OR Austin (haven't decided yet)
    July 21st-August 3rd-Dance someplace in Dallas/Austin
    August 4th-Return home

That's all VERY, VERY rough. I have from the beginning of June until the middle of July with no kiddos, so I plan to take full advantage of it.

I recently started traveling after dancing in the same city for nearly 7 years. It feels intimidating at first, but the women you meet on the road are incrediblyy helpful. These clubs are used to new girls constantly coming through, so the majority of them are used to explaining the rules and making new girls feel at home.

As far as your concern about your looks... I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. I have seen a wide variety women working these clubs. trust me, they are not expecting all the girls to be a '10". I am currently working at one of the clubs you are going to schedule at. Pm me if you have any questions.

    Good Luck to you!

    CHANGE OF PLANS:
I got into a little car accident yesterday... No real harm, but it bent the heck out of my front axle. I don't think there's any way I'll be able to make it all the way up to North Dakota on this axle, and I can't get afford to get it fixed right now. So after careful consideration and lengthy conversation with my fiance, we've decided on a little change of plans...

When my ex takes the kiddos, I'm going to travel down to Dallas and dance down there this summer. If all goes well (i.e., I fnd a good club, make decent money, etc.), then we'll move down there before the school year begins in the fall.

Now for the next question: Where should I go in Dallas? I was thinking about The Lodge, but I hear there's no pole there? I may just have to check that out and see about that. Then I was told that the Men's Club was pretty good, and was told to check out Cabaret Royale. Of these three, yes/no/maybe? And any other ideas?
