What was wrong with her before ? Why did you have to foster her?

She had kittens and the people who had her tossed her and the kittens out. She stopped eating and developed pancreatitis . One of the people from the shelter found her and the kittens and took her in but noticed she was way too thin even after having kittens and she wasn't eating. They placed a feeding tube in her neck and gave her appetite stimulants and antibiotics and asked me if I could tube feed her and care for her.

She developed a upper resp inf and well little by little got better. They took the tube out and now she eats like a champ! She is so soft, sweet and loves kids.

Her babies have been adopted but she is still in need of a good home.

Awwwww, she's so pretty. If I was anywhere near you I'd take her in a heartbeat. Thanks for helping an animal out that was in need, you're such an inspiration!

    HHL

Marnie was given to me in a similar state. She wasn't "well" by a long shot! Now she is super fine thanks to me and her children are developing along nicely (incl. Morpheus - the runt)... thanks for for being a foster carer (i can understand the integral role we play)!

I'm still real tempted to adopt Marnie (the mum) after she has finished with the kids (and the kids can be looked after without her help)...

    Awesome pics!!!!

How is she with other animals? My boyfriend has a cat and two ferrets, but we would take her in a heartbeat if she's OK with other critters. (And we both live in Philly, so we're probably fairly close by.)

She is great with dogs and cats, kids and ferrets cause mom has ferrets and at time she brings them over.

Now I need help in the Lounge forum with the Siamese I'm fostering, if you know about cats please go over, something is wrong with her

ok, i'm emailing the Paws Rescue guy. Do I need any specific information so he knows which cat I'm talking about or anything? Cause all I've got now is "I'm interested in this one grey cat..."

    Thanks all.

I spoke to him about having some interested in Grayce from Philly and he was the one who told me to send an email.

They have a few grey ones so just mention the one Lola has

you're killing me with all these pics-- I just want to reach through my laptop screen and hug her!

I've always wanted to get a kitty and name it Valencia (after the Decemberists song "O Valencia!")...but if I got this one I think I'd keep her name, so she wouldn't get confused or have a feline identity crisis.

And you are brilliant for nursing her back to health! And just so I know and can budget for it...do you know approximately how much the adoption fees might be? (a rough estimate is fine...)

    It is about $120.

She doesn't really respond to Grayce hon, she was found with her kittens so she was given that name but I call her and she doesn't really go "yeap?" like my cat Peanut, she could be sleeping in another room I say "Peanut!" she comes right away.

Oh but do you know how much was placed in to this little girl? thousands. Well worth it too. Thanks to all the people who donate to the shelter, I swear with out that we can't do anything. And to make me look bad she walked by I said "Grayce" and she turned around so there she does know her name lol

    I have a video...
