    Default Great Lengths

I was doin some searching... Im getting extensions next Thurs and the girl said 3 bundles would be good for me - four if I want a lot of fullness but I saw ViolaStrings write that she got 10 bundles and it wasnt enough?

    These are $300 per bundle...

Im all confused now. How can 3 be ok for me and 10 not enough for others? What info am I missing here?

I really would not reccommend great lengths... I had them and they were awful!!

They got really nasty and matted...Plus you can't brush your hair....yes, that's right. Once it starts to grow out you have to start brushing from under where they attach them... so thats why they get so nasty..

I did not like the hair itself either...It was itchy on me...and it gave my boyfriend a rash when I would sleep on him....soooo..

I would DEFINITELY look into other options. I am no longer in the market as I have let my hair grow out to bra length and dont want them anymore.

Oh my other beef is MAKE sure you get the type of hair you want. I later found out they come in straight/wavy varities. Well, the bitch who did mine ordered the wavy variety without even asking...Which, whatever, but I have naturally curly hair that I was paying 500 every sick months to have straightened!!!

I had extensions similiar to great lengths and I had great success. It really depends on how much time per day you're willing to put into them. Also how well you follow instructions, use the right products etc.
As it's already been stated, it depends on how many pieces are in a bundle. Also how the stylist places the hair, etc. There are different reasoning.
I just remembered, I had SO.CAP extensions. LOVED them. They lasted 5 months, no tangles...I lost no more than 10 extensions total. The stylist did say that mine lasted so long because I was so anal in their care. They should be replaced at 3 inches...mine were well over 6. I just didn't notice because I never had a problem. She was so proud of me
Good luck...I hope you researched your person. I've seen some BAD extensions.

There were 25 big extensions or 50 small ones (for around your face or crown) in my bundles. I have 10 bundles but it's probably about 300 strands in my hair.

I had some fall out, but so far I love them. The hair is actually way nicer than my hair, so I have to style it everyday.

I'd recommend them if you can afford them. The only downside is the hair isn't reusable.

With my extensions (like I said different) I needed less pieces. I had somewhere around 150. It depends on the size of your head, the thickness of your individual hair strands, and how much hair you have in general to apply it to to make it look real. It's very possible you'd need half as much as someone else, as each persons head and hair are different.
