Her nose is not right, it seems to be shedding hairI sent the picture to the director but maybe someone knows.

Looks like she's pawing at it,
or ringworm or a fungus. I can't get a good enough look at it.
Should I take a new picture? She has her back claws but not front, I am fostering her and she puked today, I called the director and he said to keep an eye on her but she hasn't changed her behaviour.
Ok another picture...
Close up of it even more...
Ok got one more shot before she was like "wth are you doing I am trying to sleep!"
It looks bad, I'd take her in. I used to be a vet tech, and I'd want to take my cat in if it looked like that.
Was it progressive, or just showed up out of nowhere?
Aside from the one episode of vomiting, anything else out of the ordinary? Urination/defecation-food/water intake normal...any change in diet. Anything different in house cleaners that would flair an allergy...unusually warm weather bringing all those nasty allergy things with it? Do you see her itching it or does it just seem to Grow?
The one shot it looks inflamed. I suggest taking her in, and in the process thoroughly washing your hands and those of your family members.
Oh my no it was fine yesterday.
She doesn't leave my room, same food, no cleaning, oh God wait I cleaned the cat litter box with water and bleach but I rinsed it very well.
she hasn't changed routines or anything else but that but I have done that before and she's been fine.
She is with me cause her owner passed away and her well the widow did not want her. She's really nice but doesn't like being picked up and today my little guy went to pet her and she tried to bite him but he's got that reaction with all cats, he's 2.
I have to wait for the shelter dir to get back to me.
Awww she was starting to do so much better, ugh I hate this crap! BRB going to go comfort kitty.
Ok something is wrong cause I went to pet her ans she tired to bite me too, guess it' snot just my little guy, She rubbed against my hand and then bit me! Not hard enough to break skin but scared me.
Something is really bothering her. I wonder if that spot is tender. It could be a number of things..but in the one spot it looks swollen. Another possibility could be infection, and if she's pawing at it, agitating it, and then she rubbed you it may have hurt enough for her to respond with a "fight response". I'm not trying to upset you, just help. Give her a warm comfy clean spot to snuggle in for the night.
No thanks. I don't want her in pain I'm just scared cause not too long ago I ended up in the ER due to a cat freaking out and hurting my hand pretty bad. I'm just not going to pet her and call in the AM again since the dir hasn't emailed me tonight after we spoke on the phone and it's late and I am really tired and I need rest.
God it is going to be hell putting her in the carried, ohhhhhhhhhh. I'll just let her be, she has food, water and she likes to sleep by my feet so I will just let her come up if she wants. Oh poor Bailey.
Thanks hon, I really appreciate it.
To get her in the carrier easier try putting wet food in the back...just a tiny bit. Or tuna b/c it's less messy...also a smear of peanut butter might get her attention. If all else fails get a heavy towel and wrap her in it in one foul swoop.
If you're frequently dealing with cats that have potential to bite/scratch you should have some hypertonic saline solution around. I got a nasty cat bit at work once and got out of having to go to the ER b/c we have it at work. BEST trick is to use a cathater tip (I know, not handy) and a syringe and shove it into the wound and squeeze. Hurts like a bitch but is actually BETTER than hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Since the avg. person doesn't have access to those, soaking for 15 minutes in above saline solution will also draw almost ANY type of infection out.
I have a pretty crescent moon scar from Rabies kitty now. Rabies shots = no fun
Yeah I was in the ER cause of the bites.
More pictures
looks like potential ringworm, but I'm not a vet...just the tech
Good luck with it..I hope he's better. Absolutely gorgeous.
I'm calling Norm!
He doesn't want me to take her in cause he has stuff in his home for this.
I don't think it's that! At 4 am I woke up, SHIT! I used Natures Wipes to clean her the other day and I think she is allergic to it.
