okay, so when it comes to getting tipped on stage i actually make more money than i do with dances. however, when it comes to getting dances i suck!!! after being on stage or even between sets i'll go up to customers and talk to them for a bit and then ask them if they would like a dance and i constantly get told "you were great up there" or "you're so beautiful/sexy", but then when i ask them for a dance i get told no/maybe later, which turns out to be no in the end.
the club that i work at isn't a "wanna dance" type of club. you usually have to talk to them for at least ten minutes. i've read hustle hut and i've tried touching their arm when i ask them for a dance or telling them "i can give you an even better show in the back", but no such luck. after being there for eight hours last night i only got one dance and the night before i only got two. i don't think i've ever sold more than four dances during a shift. and i don't even over charge the guys. the majority of the girls that i've talked to add an additional $20-$40 per dance. whenever i ask a guy for a dance (and i don't over charge), i'm told "they're too expensive".
i'm at a loss as to what to do!!! any advice would be greatly appreciated.
