Default Do U believe in Karma in stripperland?

Juat curious for some input, if anyone has had similar experiences...... this club Im working in attracts some new girls from time to time and not so nice one's, like really rough and edgy girls with big attitudes who come in and try to take over the club by doing extras, giving attitude to some of the girls who do really well etc. Tonight one of these girls tried to pull a rant on me because she was angered that I was talking with someone that frequents my club and she left and came back when we were ONLY TALKING!!..any way she flips out and makes a huge scene yelling all over the place about how Im a this and a that using probaly about the only few words she knows. What's funny is that much later in the night ,from what it appeared ,she tried to rip this guy who came storming out of the room telling the bouncer her she tried to rip him off for alot of money.
Tonight I was so tempted to have a few choice words with her because of her verbal tirade against me, but I knew it would just make me look bad and wreck my night, mood etc., this isn't the first time in the past week the same thing has happened with these new girls who come out of nowhere, and think they own the club, they can change the rules and treat anyone the way they want and get away with it.
After this second time I am so tempted to take matters like this in my own hands but it will only add more flame to the fire, but a little part of me is waiting because I think girls like this, who hate on other girls and spread their bad energy around will only suffer in the end anyhow,...I'm hoping they leave the club and never come back,..but I think that may karma exists in stripperland too and what comes around still goes around even in the club.

It's true. And it works the other way around, too: help someone with a hustle or tip really well, and you'll be taken care of; be super-honest and kind with the custies, and they'll keep coming back and referring friends.

Don't let other people wreck your shifts. You already recognize that their behavior is ridiculous/petty/immature, so try to distance yourself from it and disconnect it from your shift experience.

Yes, but don't be fooled into thinking your good deeds are blessed with instant rewards. I am a total believer in karma both in the club and out, but I have recieved a slap in the face for a kind act more than once. Not everyone has a good heart. What goes around comes around, but you can't always avoid bad luck. I remember picking up a hundred dollar bill and handing to a man who had dropped it in VIP. He snatched it out of my hand without so much as a thank you. His karma prob, not mine.

sigh. I would love to believe in Karma. I would love to believe "if you just wish for it the universe will deliver". I don't.
But I am still honest to the point of stupidy and i still do the right thing even though i know I will most likely be disadvantaged by it financially. Why? Because if I don't, I end up not liking the person who I am. No amount of money is worth destroying my own self esteem.
Having said that all the drama bitches at my club don't last, all the hard hustlers and rip off merchants have to work their butts off for crummy $20 dances. Myself? I've been at the same club for years, because I always do the right thing by the club I know that the club would let me do anything and would give me the benefit of the doubt (but I never take advantage of those priveledges, and I've never had anyone complain that I know of),and every night I work I bank without effort because all the custmers know I give an awesome clean great-value dance and they happily give me $50-$100 straight up and continue the dances.
Hmmm. on second thoughts, maybe there is such a thing as karma!

I don't believe in "karma" the way most people talk about it. But I do firmly believe that the more you spread your assy, trashy attitude around the sooner it will come to bite you in the ass. Not so much karma as simple social economics.

The concept of karma is pretty screwed up in the west, so I'll just start with that. I don't think I should go off in a rant explaining that, but it should be as simple as actually reading what the Buddha taught, not the interpretations of western thinkers and religions. But even then, you have to be really careful about the translations of the texts. For some reason westerners associate karma with a punishment and reward system and I think that's out of our Judeo-Christian mindset... <end rant> With that said, I do believe in the saying, "what goes around comes around," but that is not actually karma. I'm not sure if I believe in karma. I certainly don't believe in the contemporary, western interpretation of the word. Oops and I don't have any experience in the club so I guess I really shouldn't be putting in my 2 cents!

    I believe in karma EVERYWHERE.

    Including stripperland.

Evil people like that only destroy themselves. I've seen it happen way too often not to believe in it. When you screw over other people, you only screw yourself.

And it seems as though the shit always hits the fan when it hurts the most...

I'm sure karma exists somewhere. But it sure ain't in the land of stripping.

I'd like to believe Karma exists and if it does then most strip club managers/owners better watch out cos it's coming for them!!!

couldn't have put it better myself.

On a side note, I also believe in car-ma for the same reason. Those who drive like shit will eventually eat it.
