Default custom-made outfits in San Francisco?

(mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place--couldn't decide between SG and CC.)

    Anyway...

...does anyone know of any good places/people that make custom outfits in the San Francisco area? My favorite gold dress mysteriously disappeared awhile ago, and I really want to find someone to make me a new similar one.

The first place that comes to mind is Piedmont Boutique on Haight Street. It's the place that has a giant stocking and high heel clad leg hanging out above the sidewalk.

Is JoAnns still ontop of the Hustler? The lady there used to do custom stuff. If not Felicity can probably point you in the right direction (she owns Felicity's Fetiche, which I'm sure you've already been to...?). I was able to get a custom chap/bikini set through some designer she knew.

^^^^Ooh, good suggestions. ( OP-In case you don't know where it is, Felicity's is on Sutter between Polk and Van Ness.)

I don't know if JoAnne is still in business. She had that shop over on Colombus and Kearny and it's been closed for sometime now.

Also, check at Ruby Dolls over on Grant between Green and Vallejo. I think the owner there makes and/or designs some of the costumes.
