    Default I'm a Lap Customer....Not a Director

Do guys really like to tell you what to do during dances? I would never think of doing that in a million years, I'm a sit back and absorb it type of guy...and despite seeing complaints about that type on here from time to time, I thought it was the jerk exception, not the rule. But I get a private dance from this new girl the other night (a true new girl, not a "from another club" new girl), and about 30 seconds in, she's like, "well, tell me what you like, most guys are bossing me around by now, so I need to have an idea of what you want me to do."

Maybe I'm naïve, but given other circumstances I don't think it was a pitch for extras....I really do think it was just an instruction for me to direct the dance. Um, no, sweetie that's your job....

Do you really find that guys want to direct your dances? That's just not me......I don't tell airline pilots how to fly the plane.

I like to know when I'm doing a good job. I would feel incredibly put on the spot as a customer if the dancer was "all so, tell me what you like" though - like "just... dance already, I don't know". In a nutshell, if you have a preference, it is nice if you make it known. If there is something she can do better - same thing (and I'm assuming that we're talking about things in the normal realm of a lapdance). We're not magic - all we have to go on is your responses and verbal cues are pretty easy to understand.

If a guy starts directing my dance I will do the complete opposite.
I hate it when im doing a move and the guy motions for me to come closer to him.
I have told many of them off saying "whose doing the dance here?" and "i don't take directions".

Sit there and enjoy and dont tell me how to do my job, im pretty good at it IMO.

I don't mind if the customers tell me what they like....some just like to watch my ass the whole time and I have no problem doing that. Not to mention it usually makes me more money when I do special requests but I would never ask the guy to direct me in what moves I should be doing.

Keep in mind that I do a lapdances and Jai doesn't. So a direction of "come closer" isn't particularly relevant. Like if a guy said to me "come closer" I'd have to be all "Like, where? You want me to burrow into your intestines? Because - no."

But I also assumed we were talking about normal dance stuff - if a guy was issuing directions like "let me lick your pussy" I wouldn't find that as helpful.

i do now hehe my clubs rules have changed .... a lot. but there is still no touching.
but i still do the whole chair thing where i also use my own chair and sit on that and do some moves. when they say come closer its coz they want me back on their chair with them. i find it annoying, i have a routine.

    Aw.
I think I assumed what you meant by that example was that the guy was looking for something "more" instead of some "variation". (oops). I think most dancers will be more amenable to directions on "variation" than "more".

I personally accept whatever the dancer wants to offer. If I don't like her style, then it will result in fewer dances purchased. But if she asks for your input, you really have no one to blame but yourself if the dance was not what you like. In that case, I'd ask the dancer to face me, given a choice of forward or backwards, but not specify every detail of what to put where. Especially, with dancers I don't know, the level of acceptable contact can vary greatly. Better to keep my hands to myself, often enough the dancer will place them somewhere for me.

If a guy tells me what h likes that's one thing IE: I'm an ass man, I really like breasts. But telling me ti grind your cock or pulling me down on your lap, not gonna happen m friend.

Sometimes a dancer has said, "What do you want?" and I'm left a little speechless and mumble something like, "Do your thing." I'm not witty enough to say, "Oh, make me feel loved."

As far as direction, the only time that's happened is like in the case of Madame Jackhammer, where the little man downstairs was screaming bloody murder, and I'm saying, "Uhhh.... can you slow down? Be a touch more gentle? Please?"

Lysondra, from what I know of your performances, I doubt that I could be any more creative than you are.

I've never had a girl ask me for direction. I've had to stop a girl from grinding too much, as it just became irritating.

I've been asked a few times and I never have an answer...It's more of a "Ehhh..well...whatever you like to do.."

I've been asked a few times... so wanted to give a smart ass answer oh well... mostly if they ask I know it's not going to be a good dance, or theres something else going on...

The only time I usually volunteer something is, if I want to see more of front or back... Or there doing something like putting there upperback at my eye level and staying that way for 30 secs. Then I'll say something.

I don't like when guys force me to do things, like directing my hips or trying to put me in a position. It's my body, I'll move it, thanks.

If someone likes my ass and wants to stare at it for 3 mins please tell me and I'll lean over on the table and let you go to town.

If a guy tells me to keep grinding though I will for a couple more seconds and move...I'd rather hear the request if you actually have a preference, but that doesn't mean I'll accept it.

I'm more likely to respond when a custy says something complimentary to encourage me to do what he likes... something along the lines of "wow, you have such a beautiful back." Then I'm more than happy to lift up my hair or whatever to give then a better view, etc. But I do NOT respond well to flat out requests, because they are mostly the kind that I would never do...

I know this may come as a surprise to guys who are content with "grind forward, grind backwards, grind forward, grind backwards, pay me please", but there's more than one way to cook pasta. If you have a specific fantasy in your head, be thankful when you hear this line. As long as its within reason, the right gal can be very accomidating.

I just by happenstance got this line (almost verbatim) from a dancer last night and it brought a smile to my face. And no, it wasn't a proposition for extras. It was a request for my input. That tells me I'm dealing with someone smart enough to know that one size doesn't fit all.

Nonetheless, I tried to hint not so subtely to three previous dancers what they could do to encourage multiple sales, and none of them picked up on it. They each sold me one dance. Miss "what do you want me to do", ended up selling me ten. Ahh, how the rewards can compound when one learns to be adaptive.

I agree with the other dancers that a guy who bosses me around or tells me to "come closer" is always up to something. "Come closer" or "put it up to my face" means he's going to try grabbing, licking, or biting it.

Everyman, I think that the best way to respond in your case would be to tell her she's hot no matter what and you want her to do it her way/show off her favorite features and moves. I think that sort of thing would inspire confidence in most women, and ultimately get you the best dance.

I give my best dances when I feel the customer is a gentleman who likes my style and doesn't expect me to "prove" something. I'd bet you anything the dancer you spoke with gets a bored, glazed look on her face during Mr. Bossy's dance, and can't wait for it to end.

EDIT: Just like $$$magnet said! ^^^

I had a guy tell me to hurry up and get naked last night - I was a bit put out and said "it's coming sweetie, I've done this before y'know"and winked at him, despite being kinda pissed off (I mean, really???)

I usually just play on the vibe, some guys are chatty and I'll maybe ask them how they like their girl, but some just wanna sit and look, in which case I'll just get into the dancing..

OK I think I rambled a bit... excuse me, lack of sleep and too many chocolate covered coffee beans!

i just like subtle feedback. when a customer compliments a certain thing i do, i know he/she likes it. i don't like being bossed around and i don't like when a guy just sits quietly the entire time either.

Only direction I offer is if the chick is going too fast or trying to break my junk off, in either case that's the end of my patronage.

Hah. Sorry. You know. Just made me laugh.

    Hi!

Also, I dig energetic women. If the dance is as good as the pole show, I'm good. I really have no good input one way or another.

It's kind of a "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" right?

Offering advice in any case is often a loaded gun unless you've spent enough on the dancer or she knows how to take your comments. Which is cool, cause I'm not necessarily looking to check off a list of moves completed or anything.
