Right now, my boyfriend has his head curled up on my feet, and my collie puppy is sleeping in bed with us. My boyfriend is spooning the dog
I am so lucky and blessed to be loved and have such a happy home.

Driving. Alone. My music. Looking at the Australian countryside. *sigh*

- My Great Grandmother Bessie's Recipe for Success
When I take my dog to the lake to walk, and the sun is shining and it's warm and the sky is blue and we just walk. It's so great. There is nothing more peaceful than walking my dog.
Another great moment is when I'm in bed with a cat at my feet, another cat on my pillow and the dog next to me, and I'm so smushed in between all these animals I feel like I'm surrounded with love. It makes me very content to have all of my animals in bed with me purring and happy.
December I was making the 20 some hour drive back from dancing in Texas. I was stopped in New Mexico for gas around day break and witnessed one of the most amazing sunrises I'd ever seen. It was so cold and crisp outside. I felt alive and free. I miss traveling to work so badly lately.

Last night I almost got in a car accident. It suddenly started hailing so hard that you couldn't see the lines very well and someone across the median had already had an accident. Had to stop asap to avoid the rubberneckers ahead of me, spun out and just barely missed hitting the median and rubberneckers. Also very lucky no one had been following me because they definitely would have hit me.
Noontime naps. Especially when I'm naked with my (high thread-count) sheet pulled up around my shoulders with the patio door open so that the warm noontime air can drift in.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
