My bf and I were talking, and we really want to move out of the US and go travel. I've been interested in NZ for awhile now, and just spent an entire afternoon researching it. I'm looking into how to get a temporary visa or as they call it "working holiday scheme" to go stay there on this page:
It says that "
When you’re here
- you must not take up permanent employment (unless you apply for and are granted an ordinary Work Permit while you’re here)
- you can enrol in one training or study course of up to three months duration during your visit.
Please note: New Zealand law prohibits any person on a temporary permit, including a Working Holiday Scheme work permit, from providing commercial sexual services, or operating or investing in a business which provides such services."
does that mean that I'm not allowed to work at a strip club? It doesn't define what a commercial sexual service is exactly, and I would figure that if it's called "commercial" it must also be legal too-- so does that mean that if I go visit NZ I can't work at a club there as well??
We're going to apply for permits now, and go live there from September to as long as the permit lets us or as long as we want to, because we are not staying in portland when it's cold and rainy ever again!!
So does anyone know?
