Default I hope she's actually fired...

So this girl B was DRUNK last night, and I'm not talking about a little bit tipsy, either. Apparently, she went on-stage to do a showtime for this girl's birthday, and this girl started talking shit on her. Okay, I can actually see that happening--the girl is one of three sugarbabies on this playboy-wannabe's entourage, so I can see her trying to shit-talk. This apparently pissed off B, and then B had to go up to her last set.

I hear the DJ call the manager to the DJ booth, but the manager either didn't hear or ignored it. When I walked by the DJ booth, B was HITTING the DJ on the arm and shoulders and screaming at him to play "Bette Davis Eyes". So *I* went over and told the manager to go and take care of it, since he wasn't even aware of what was going on.

B was the last dancer on stage, so as soon as she got off, DJ called ALL dancers to the DR. I was already dressed and ready to go by this time, but I dutifully went to the DR. B was screaming at the manager, cussing him out, etc. Her friend A was trying to push her back, because B was about to hit the manager, and B ended up throwing A to the ground. Manager called the owner and said, "I don't want this girl working here ever again," and the owner apparently agreed. B starts screaming how manager is lying about her, so owner asks to talk to B, and manager hands over the phone. B ends up screaming at the owner, owner says she's fired, and then manager tells B to gather up her things and don't come back.

A runs back into the DR after following out the manager, saying, "B, get your things and get out of here quick. Manager called the cops." Since everyone else seemed to be distracted, me and new dancer decided to high-tail it out of there while nobody was paying attention. In the parking lot, I was B (who had already gotten in her car) getting out of her car and threatening to key the manager's NEW Ford Saleen Mustang (a VERY nice car).

The entire time A was making excuses for B's behavior. "She didn't start a fight with the customer. She walked away when the girl started talking shit on her. She really showed a lot of self-control. She doesn't usually get like this. She's just not feeling good. She just had too much to drink." Whatever.

I don't normally drink at work. When I do, I have one or two the whole night. I don't have a problem at ALL with the girls who like to be a little bit buzzed when they're working--that's fine. But when a girl is slobbering drunk and VIOLENT, I think she needs to go. Frankly, she should've been cut off long before she got to that point, but I just hope that "fired" doesn't mean "not allowed to work until you apologize". And if she goes, her friend A has promised to go with her. I don't have a problem with A, but she is an alcoholic, and she's been somewhat confrontational and bitchy when she's been drunk (which happens probably 75% of the time she works), so I wouldn't exactly be sad to see her go.

Man, it was a crazy night last night.

Well I don't think dancers who get drunk should get fired because frankly thats a large majority of women in this business. The violence though should not be tolerated though and she shouldn't be given another chance. Who wants to have to look out for the drunk ticking time bomb?

^I don't think she got fired for being drunk. She got fired for hitting the DJ, screaming at the manager and screaming at the owner. It sounds like she lost control (either due to temper or intoxication or both) and it cost her her job.

I drink at work but I'm a happy/sleepy/flirty drunk. Angry drunks are bad for business.

This happened at my first club. Girl got shit faced and kicked a beer glass in a trustworthy customer's face for nothing. She thought he had said something but the bartender was there, the other bartender's step dad was right there, and she hadn't. She had thrown an ashtray before so that was it, she got fired. Oh yeah and about ten minutes earlier as a joke she bit me SO FUCKING HARD I had a BLACK bruise that was visible for a good couple weeks. Still a slight tint there.

Ended up running into her at the club I'm at now as I quit the first club and she ended up getting fired again. CUSTY reported her for basically putting her tits and pussy in his mouth. LOL.

She seemed like a cool chick too.

^^^I think it was that the DJ was trying to defuse the situation between B and the customer by just making sure that ALL the dancers were off the floor. It actually makes sense. The customer may very well have been angry, and even if B was in the DR, A would likely have stuck up for her to the customer, leading to a fight. When DJ called all dancers to the DR, the customer B complained about was still in the club. It was closing time, so most of the customers were in the process of leaving but were still present.
