    Default RIP, Old Man Cat

I know a few of you followed the story. He had been doing so much better for a couple of weeks, and then just quickly spiralled downhill. His kidneys were failing, his glucose levels were spiking crazy high, his back hips were going, and he had lost most bladder control. It broke our hearts but it was time to let him go. 1030 this morning, we were there when it happened, and he went comfortably. MrsC and I are sad but okay, the kids are devastated. He was older than our oldest child. Anyway, we took some final pics of him this morning before we left for the vet, I'll post some later after MrsC uploads them since I don't know how to work her spiffy camera.

So far, 2008 sucks hard. RIP, Duncan.

Oh no. I'm so sorry. I loved hearing about your Old Man Cat; he sounds like he was quite a character. He had a good long full life though, and it sounds like it was his time.

I was thinking about you today, MrCee. Again, I'm so sorry for the hurt you and yours are going through. And I'm glad OMC had such a loving family while he was here.

I'm sorry Mr. C. It's so sad when our furbabies can't make it anymore.

MrC, I am so sorry about Duncan. I've outlived a fair number of cats now, and every one has made me brokenhearted when they died. Please accept my sympathy for you and your family. Duncan is at peace, and some day, another cat will adopt you.

I'm very sorry. It's such a painful thing to do but being there during their final moment really is beautiful if u think about it. I held both Zaine and Zoe when it was time for them to pass away.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Oh, Mr. C, I'm so so sorry. I know it was time, but it's still heartwrenching. Sounds like you got every last little bit of love out of him! Hugs to you & Mrs. C and the kidses.
