    Default Saying "no" to drinks

How do you say no to a potential customer who offers you a drink without making him lose interest? I have recently been saying "I only drink in the champagne room" but this has been getting a negative response with them seeing me in a negative "money hungry stripper/hussler" light. I can't say something like "I don't drink" or "I have to drive" because this might ruin my chances of getting a champagne room with this person. So how do you say no to cocktails in a way that is friendly and will still get this person to buy dances, vips, and maybe even an hour in the champagne room with you?

I just say no thanks or order a Diet Coke. If you really want to make them think you are drinking, carry a cranberry and Sprite around with you. Then, when you are sitting there you already have a drink and can put him off. I don't typically sit longer than it would take to drink a beverage, so it isn't a problem I deal with very often.

Just refuse the drink. Make small talk still and ask for the dance. I've seen a lot of big earners refuse drinks all the time and are always bouncing around different customers so they wouldn't have time to sit and drink anyway. The only time I've really seen customers get upset when a girl doesn't want a drink is when they are trying to get the dancers drunk and no one needs to waste their time on those assholes.

You have to try to convince them that you've had plenty to drink already. If they're the party type, tell them you're wasted. You have to act like it, but don't overdo it!

Guys think that they'll have more fun if you drink, and are pretty much always disappointed if you don't, so put a positive spin on not drinking.

Say you just had a few rounds of tequila shots or whatever, and you're feeling great (touch their leg or yourself when you say it...lol...you know how drunk girls are). Say something like "I wouldn't want to forget that handsome face/hot body/how much fun we had together." I'm still trying to figure out a sexy way to say I can't dance as well when I drink.

Laugh it off and talk about sex or something so he thinks you're in the mood.

I do do this but i drink it sooo ridiculously fast! And I work at a very "talk talk talk" club where sometimes the girls are talking to only one or two guys the whole night, and its rude to just spend a song with a guy before popping the question. And sometimes they ask what I'm having. Should I just lie and say it's alcoholic?

Yeah, I have a friend who was a strip club waitress where they had lingo for virgin drinks. Ask the waitresses and other strippers if there's such a code.

ive done this before, but i worry that this ruins my chances of them buying a champagne room with me since they figure im already maxed out on alcohol

I drink peach schnops (sp?) and red bull, I could drink 5 in a row and barely catch a buzz, pluss I get tons of energy so custys are none the wiser, but I also get commission off my drinks and if I sell enough I get my house fee back so I rarely turn down a drink, but I obviously don't want to get trashed at work. i say "i'd love a drink, thank you!" and proceed to order a diet redbull or an o'douls. They usually won't even notice what i ordered and if they do i mention I have a long way to drive. The o'douls looks like a beer and alot of guys just don't even notice. Oh, or i will order a soda water with a lime.

Most of the time I drink milk at work. Yes, milk. And I keep mints on hand so my breath isn't milky. A regular wealthy customer was apparently looking for fresh dancer blood and one of the waitresses introduced us. He'd asked a little info about me before he asked to be introduced, though. She told him I drank only milk.. and it intrigued him. He told me that himself - did three champagne rooms with him. I'm not lucky enough to do one every night I work, never mind two or three!

Og - and I forgot to add.. he's much more into talking with someone and being there intellectually than sexually. It was an easy $700 he spent on me!!!

Alcohol and allergy meds are both depressants. It'll knock you out.

or order a wine spritzer (wine and seltzer) if your club doesn't do fake drinks. It's low in calories, and it's still alcohol, so customers won't be on your back..and a moderate amount of wine is actually good for you. You can have a talk with the bartender and ask her to hook you up with spritzers that are mostly seltzer and just a few splashes of wine.

There was a thread about this awhile ago, I believe one of the girls also recommended ordering a "tall" vodka cranberry- same amount of alcohol, more juice-takes much longer to drink. Also, I'm curious-why would not drinking affect your chances of a champagne room?

I second that! (it was me). Works best in rural areas that are mostly beer drinkers or shitty liquor drinkers. Not sure if it would fly in bigger cities. One club the owner had to run around and ask nearby girls wtf it was. They were cracking up laughing that I had ordered that and still no one knew it wasn't alcoholic.

Also, if your club is lame about sneaking you virgin drinks order something really, really low alcohol like Sprite with a splash of UV. That UV stuff is lame but it has almost no alcohol in it and it turns the Sprite a pretty color so it looks fancy. Its basically grenadine with a tiny bit of alcohol.

Sometimes if I'm doing shots with a guy whose already wasted and alone I'll just wrap almost my whole hand around the shot glass and slam the shot back down faster than him while bringing it slightly before the table first to toss the drink on the ground. Yeah, I feel bad about tossing it on the ground but its already nasty and its under the table on carpet where no one will slip. Don't make a habit out of this though. Once or twice in a great while it works to close a deal. Usually I just start drinking tequila shots with them. For some reason I can hold tequila better than most girls (can't with vodka, rum, etc)

Tall is always a good alternative but I'd hate to drink that much cranberry juice. My usual drink is just vodka on the rocks with extra ice (or water if the bartender knows). It melts pretty fast and gets pretty diluted. Many, many of my sales have been helped by guys seeing me drinking just a vodka on the rocks or some other non-girly drink.

I freaking love shirley temples I always try to make them at home but I can never get the grenadine-to-sprite ratio right.

Either say, "I just did a shot so I can't have another drink for half an hour..."

Or order a diet coke with a lime, or something like that. If he says something, just say oh I just a shot so I want to wait a minute. That way it leaves the option of you doing a CR open.

The only place I ever worked where guys got pissed off it was because they had set prices for dancers drinks, so if I got a Captain and Coke or a Coke it was still 6 bucks, which to be fair is a lot for a coke. Lol.
