Default So proud, Ill celebrate with a Timtam :)

Ive lost 8 kg, and Im halfway to my highest goal weight (I really want to lose another 11, but 8 would be fine)!

My legs are looking great, Ive got some good definition, without even hardly working out.
Ive lost 3 inches around my bra strap (all my fat goes to my back) and 2 inches everywhere else.

And the best thing? Ive done this all properly! Sensible eating, exercise.

Rather than my bad ED road.

    Maybe I AM cured?

why dont u celebrate by buying a hot new outfit? i know tim tams are nice but u r working so hard and getting results. maybe try not to reward yourself with food - u gotta break that association.

Hubbie would kill me if I brought another outfit. I honestly use our spare room as a dressing room/walk in robe. Im going to get some outfits tailored at the end of the year, so Im saving up my shopping addiction until then.

I know the food reward thing isnt good, but I felt like a timtam, and try not to deny my cravings, or I obsess over food. It becomes too much of a 'big deal' to eat junk occasionally, and if I have no choice (ie its the middle of the night and Im broke) and end up eating 'bad' food, I beat myself up over it.

I try to eat when I want (within reason) to get my 'hunger function' working properly. I abused my body for so long its too easy to not listen when Im hungry and stop when Im full.

Plus a timtam goes so well with a warm milo for my throat infection

I def hear u there. I am far from normal when it comes to food habits.
My trainer was discussing this very thing - rewarding ourselves with food yesterday and I thought i'd just pass on exactly what he said to me.

But u have a sore throat and I def think u should enjoy that, it will go down a treat

It IS excellent advice though, thankyou! You must be so disciplined to have a trainer. I couldnt cope with someone watching me exercise.

Im hoping I get to the 'food is just fuel' stage one day, but its hard to want food without wanting something in particular, know what I mean?

And my throat is icky. Ive had a cold for 2 weeks (damn weight loss putting stored toxins into my body) and its gotten nasty, Im actually on anti-biotics (something I never take)
I want to play with my nieces this weekend, and coughing up blood from my throat, my sister wont come near me

I couldnt deal with someone bugging me atthe gym though, Id snap lol

I have a lung infection apparently. On antibiotics now

And I didnt end up having a Timtam, I went to, and realised hubbie was already asleep, so I just brushed teeth and went to bed like a good girl :-)

Can you post your basic routine? Like how often you work out and what you do exactly?

    Im using the website www.calorieking.com.au

On 1500 Calories a day, plus I aim for 100 minutes of exercise (even house cleaning/gardening counts!)

I have 47g of fat, 120g protein, 180g carb and 50g of fibre as my goals, I aim for under 20% fat, 20-30% Protein, 30-40%carb, roughly.

I aim to do weights twice a week (usually) yoga/pilates twice a week, and 'proper' cardio for around 40 minutes a day.

I also stretch every day at home, to keep flexibility (Im an old gymnast) regardless of how tired/sick I feel, since its not exactly hard work. Ill take some pics when I get home, of before and after in bikini. I still have a bit to go, to be back to my healthy thin weight

I lost the last 3 kg by having a chest infection. I ate anything I wanted (which wasnt that much) usually mousse, custard etc, but cos I wasnt feeling well the weight dropped off. And Ive maintained it, since my tummy is still small, I can only eat small portions.
