Default Aw, my first edumacation of a patron!

Haha, so yesterday was interesting. The main stage was closed as they were cleaning it and such, which is great that they DO that, but it meant all the girls had to dance on the little podunk side stage.

It's like, 3 feet across and maybe 14 feet long, and we had 2-4 girls on it at a time haha. Whatever, I still danced my best despite still being unrhythmic like the other girls who have done this much much longer.

NO ONE made any money yesterday day shift, literally something like 7 lapdances had been done and 7 champagnes by the end of the shift, I only got one dance, the place was dead. :p Still no big, I didn't lose money and I got to practice on the pole and work on my dancing and hustling still.

Anyway, this young guy was in with his buddy, and he was really nice, and we chatted a bit before my stage, where he came and tipped me and we chatted some more. I tried to segue him into getting a dance, and he got this sad look, where he said to me, "I'm sorry, I want this to come out right, but I don't get dances. To me, they're demeaning to women." I giggled and said "You paying me to I can be independent and take care of myself is demeaning?"

He got flustered, and I explained the dynamics of the club, how we pay to work and all that, they don't pay us, we rely on dances for paying our bills, and he was stunned. He thought we just danced on stage, got tipped, and it was all good! I apologized to him, smiled, said I'd come back if I didn't find anyone to dance for, but that I had to go and try to make some money if he wasn't going to assist me. It was polite and amiable, and I KNOW these guys exist from you girls mentioning them, but man.

I THINK I could have worked on him more and gotten some money, but I saw him just chatting with girls for the next 3 hours and never getting any dances (or even tipping anyone else), so maybe it was a lost cause anyway. :p

Oh well, live and learn haha!

I think some men and even women out there have no clue what the business is all about and almost think we do this for fun!

Lol I get this a lot too. Ever try saying "Okay then how about you just pay me the money and we just talk?" If theyre being honest about it being demeaning and THAT being the reason, then it should work right?

Seriously, one time I told this guy that I hadnt even made cab fare yet after he refused a dance from me and he was shocked. I had to explain to him that we were not paid hourly wages, and again, he was shocked. Instead of giving me money for a cab though he offered to give me a ride home. Awww how sweet of him

I never think its a good idea to guilt men into buying dances... saying you havent made anything isnt the best impression to put out there...

I never understood why men would want to give more to a girl who already has it all.
I know if i see a tip jar is super full i feel i wont have to tip much. If i see its empty I'm more tempted to tip more.

As soon as a customer gives any indication that he is looking down on me, I bolt. Saying that what we do is demeaning is just another way of saying that he thinks we are beneath him. Oddly enough, if they manage to take pity on you () by buying a dance, they will often be grabby or try to take you away from your awful lifestyle via dinner or dating. Not worth my time.

I've done this before too. Not like a "pity me" kind of thing, somehow it came up, like he asked what the club pays us or something. He was pretty surprised.

    But still no dances. Bah.
