    Default New system~No Tip?

    Okay....

So, I've recently changed clubs and the system is completely different. At the old club we had private rooms where we'd give vips for $20 but $11 went to the club. Obviously a tip was necessary. If not, you were getting naked and groped for 9 dollars. Now, at my new club lap-dances are the same price and we keep the whole 20 and the dances aren't exactly private...there's couch dances in the open or a champagne room which requires a tip, of course. My question is, would it be greedy to hustle tips for couch dances? Are you not suppose to ask in these kinds of clubs? My instinct is telling me to get all I can get( I almost feel stupid for even questioning it) but, I understand there's different customs and things that you just don't do at certain clubs. Plus I don't even know if it's allowed.

Wow, I can't believe your old club took $11 out of a $20 dance. That's why you feel bad about asking for tips now. But trust me, you can and should do it. Hell, at my club we do $25 dances and I still try to get tips on that to cover my payouts.

What I do is wait until I'm done dancing and then say, "Ok, we did X dances so it's $X, and of course you are welcome to add a tip to that if you'd like," wink wink smile smile.

My dances are 20, with an open couch system or just dancing at their chair and I always ask in a really cute pouty voice "gasp, your not gonna tip me?" and will usually get a dollar or two sometimes more.

I don't know what kind tips you're used to receiving but unless you jsut get lucky don't expect to be making 5+ in tips from one guy if you're just doing regular couch dances.

I used to always say that the lap dances were a minimum tip of $20 per song (I would use the word "tip" instead of charge or fee).

I never had a problem collecting more using that line. Only occasionally would the customers just hand me $20. It is a nice way of asking for more without seeming to be pushy for tips. It gives the customer's a chance to appear generous, even if the tip is only $5.

Yup... They'd usually make more than half the money we were working for. There was some serious legal pimping going on. It was such a nitty-gritty, go hard hustle that I feel weird applying it at my classier club. But I'll start asking. I think I just have to refine my hustle. Maybe hustle like less of a hustler and be more relaxed about it..... lol if that makes sense.

I think it's a good strategy. I'm just worried about some jerk not wanting to "tip" a full 20 thinking he has a choice. But if anything I'm glad I won't have to twist his arm myself to get the rest of my money.
