It'll only take you about 17 years of ballet lessons to do that lol. Pretty much all I do is a lot of fancy splits. I hardly ever spin around and only know the very basic spinning tricks so I use my flexibility and strength to its advantage.
Like Lysondra said, it depends on how flex you are now.

Her hands look really awkward to me. I can't do anything close to that. Honestly though, I don't have much interest learningI mean I appreciate the strength of it, but it's not all that sexy to me.

Not super sexy but it does have the WOW factor that might help you stand out a bit., but thats just what works for me. I don't think its silly looking though.

I can do it.
I think its easier to do it with your legs facing into the pole not away from it. Its a tad different.
When doing the one pictured I'm far to short to ever touch the ceiling so I just hook my ankle around the pole.
Her head looks kind of in a silly position. I think it would be sexier if she was able to lean her body more upright.

It is genetic. Some people can do it, some can't but it really has to do with who your parents are.
Bone and muscle structure makes a difference in how flexible you are going to be. If your hip bones are just right and your muscles and ligaments are connected just right, you should be able to learn this move.
Otherwise you would have to start in young childhood when you bones aren't fully formed.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

Needtodance can do it! I'm in awe of flexible people. I wish I could do that.
Start by being able to do regular splits.
Stand facing the pole and put your leg up as high as you comfortably can, resting on the pole. Turn your body to the side and simultaneously press towards the pole, your top foot will slide upwards. That's how I do it anyway.

I can do the splits like that, but I don't think I could do it on the pole. Then again, I can't do anything on the pole so maybe I could if I practiced it.
I can do it but I'd probably look like a retard trying to go into that move in the club. I tried it at home and I thought It looked funny. I think anyone that can do a split can pretty much do this. I learned how to do a split by forcing my self into one and trying to hold it for as long as I could. Now I can climb all the way to the top of the pole and slide down into a split. But I wouldn't recommend forcing your muscles because there were times I'd injure my inner thigh muscles and it would freakin hurt to walk.




I had a friend who tried that^ and got locked, they had to load her in the car still in splits and take her to the hospital. We were 9 and a lil stoopid, was kinda funny, she was laughing and crying all the way there.
