    Default I learned something new

I guess this won't really work in clubs where you dance for them on the floor, but in clubs where you go to a couch or room...

When you approach them don't ask for a dance. Say, "come to my spot with me," or "come keep me company."

Once they're in the chair, they're committed. Drape yourself over them, explain the dance options, hold out your garter/thong, and say, "you can put the money right in here, honey."

^^^ along those lines, "Let's go & be naughty in MY office" works well for the biz crowd, too.

    or
"lets go to my fave spot away from everyone"
"lets go sit on a cumfy chair/couch, my fave is overthere, com'on"

    then say

"itll only be x$ to get me naked for the next song!"

    i like that idea..

This is effective for one-time money-making. However, people who feel pressured into getting a dance will most likely not be return customers.

Though it may take more time, building rapport with customers and convincing him that he wants what you want through persuasion, is more likely to get return customers.

Put the power of the decision making in his hands, and he feels confident about his buying decision. Most of all, he feels that he can trust you.

If you trust a sales person, and enjoy the service they have to offer, it is likely you will want to do business with them again, and again, and again.

Don't you think that's misleading? If I was the customer I would walk out as soon as you led me into the couch dance room. I think that makes the dancer look dishonest.

Lena is a traveling dancer, IIRC. When I traveled I did the same thing. Regulars - no time for them and not enough money.

Not only am I a travelling dancer, I mostly work in clubs with travelling customers. I can build rapport and stuff during the dances, as well. I've had several returning customers this way.

Some customers do walk out, most don't. I know I'm not dishonest, so I honestly don't care how I might look if it's making me more money.

Good if it works for u. I dont think it would suit my club or my style. I would feel embarrassed if he walked off. I get embarrassed if i get a customer to the dance room and he goes to take out his money and realises he doesn't have enough. Plus it pisses me off, then i have to waste my time waiting while he goes to the atm.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I don't see how it's misleading at all. I think it would work well for me. I might try and implement this sometime.

I wouldn't approach someone and say this, but after a few minutes of conversation, I think it's a clever way to word asking for a dance. Or maybe on a really busy Friday night, walking up to somebody and saying that, but with the full knowledge that they know you're talking about doing a dance. Could be sexy.

I tend to agree with this. Unless they are utter and complete strip club neophytes, they know the score.

I can see how in the situation of being a traveling dancer, this hustle would be the most beneficial. I was thinking of it from the perspective of working a home club. Now I get it.

I can definitely see this working on a weekend night with new faces (not known club regulars). Even if they are new to the club, it doesn't mean they do not know the score as soon as they walk in the door that the dancers are there WORKING! lol...I'd just up the flirty factor and not the 'I'm a nice girl who just wants to show you around the club' and even the most daft guy will likely get the point. All in all, I think it is a slight pressure tactic, but an effective one, to get the guy to buy NOW or you're outta there!
