    Default My first vegan chili

    E just made me a vegan chili that was Delcious!!! tasty tasty

    I made it non-vegan though with a little cheese. My goal is to be a lacto-ovo vegetarian by Monday.

    Yum! Chili is one of the best veggie meals.

    I love me some vegan chili! Katie, I don't have the recipe on hand atm but you can pretty much take any chili recipe and use soy meat crumbles instead of beef.

    ive been really disappointed with sub. meat lately ive been veggie for 2 years and just started trying sub meats and ugh they suck bad. i do like me some tofu though, mmmm. and boca chix strips are good but everything else is the grossness.

    aj if you can get his recipe ill love u forever.

    chili is supposed to be meat and peppers and a few spices. everything else is blasphemy.

    I like soy meat in stuff like chili and tacos because they're so seasoned that the texture is the only difference I can tell.

    This recipe used TVP. It was really good. PM me if you want the recipe. Not sure if I can post a published recipe that's not mine. I guess it won some awards, even against meat filled chili. Pretty good....however needed to be a bit spicier in my opinion.

    I could do without the fake meat in veggie chili. The beans and stuff are enough for me. I haven't found any like that though. My favorite is Amy's Organic with veggies.
