Most of these companies have said they are transfering their manufacturing to the states because of our high [Canadian-sic] dollar. A recently published study said that our province will become a "have not province" meaning we will receive equalization payments from other Canadian provinces in the next two years. Equalization payments for the biggest manufacturing province of Canada is not a good thing. I can only conclude that the lower American dollar is attracting investment back to the USA and away from it's biggest trading partner, and maybe from other countries as well. "(snip)
