Default Baltimore Hustler: is this how they fire dancers?

So I left the shady club on the Block today & went into Hustler & was hired on the spot. Michael Parker was the 1 who hired me. I was at the Hustler at 12 PM & I was introduced to the girls, showed around, & was practicing on the pole which took about 3 hours. After all that, I was put on rotation & I danced to my 3 songs. Once I was done & got off the stage, Parker came up to me & said "go home & come back tomorrow at 4 PM" Is this the nice way of saying "you suck & are ugly so come in when we're not busy so people won't see you"? Because tomorrow is a Sunday & I'm assuming Sundays aren't busy, especially in the evening. I heard Hustler has a fat list so I probably just got on it...

nope. they fire girls by having them come in to work, get ready, and then they call them into the office and fire you. it's happened to many girls i know. myself included. theyre assholes. they certainly wouldnt tell you to come back if you were fired.. how does that even make sense?

i also think you shouldnt be putting his full name on here. yeah any of us who have worked there know who youre talking about... you couldve just said parker.

Oh sorry about the name thing!!!

Well if they fire girls by having them come in, get ready, & then fire them, can't that happen to me tomorrow even though the manager asked me to come back?

i mean, its possible.. i just wouldnt think he'd tell you to go home part way through the shift and come back to fire you. that doesnt make sense.. he already sent you home before the shift was over, so why not just fire you then?

I hate being treated that way. I guess just take the shift that you are given. But I would have responded with a I really like this club and I am all ready to work is it possible for me to stay a while, with a nice smile.

Don't feel embarrassed or useless. Maybe they just want to put you on a less busy shift for a little bit to learn the ropes better. There's no reason to feel bad. Not everyone is ready for the busiest nights right off the bat.

She's got it. If they didn't want to hire you, they wouldn't have told you to come back tomorrow.
