Honey, look...alot of girls on here are undercover whores!
Personally, I'd be ashamed if I gave it up for free to any Tom, Dick or Harry.
I say get something from it! Because once he busts his nut, its a wrap. I consider it an insult when someone says "hoe" instead of "whore". I'd rather be that whore smiling all the way to the bank instead of hoe who twiddles her thumbs after getting fucked on.

You legally cannot disclose your prices through email etc while working at a brothel (I'm assuming you are talking MLBR or the like) believe me they do have ways of finding out. Only a few brothels allow you to come in for less than 2 weeks to tour.

You'll need to get a health check, a license and your supplies. You will need at least 300 to get started unless you want them to put it on your tab. which isn't the best bet. IMO.

I'm not sure what you mean by giving out your cost for private parties. Do you mean escorting when you aren't at the brothels? If so no matter what it's illegal. Some states do you have escort licenses but I'm not sure how you can obtain that. There are a lot of loop holes when it comes to this shit.

TBE - I have to say that the 'attitude' in re: being a working lady is mainly US based IMO.

I know I personally don't have any problems with people wanting to delve into working that part of the sex industry. It's a perfectly legal and viable way to earn a living here in Australia

It never fails to amaze me how fucked up the US is in regards to this ... Australia isn't perfect by a long shot however it is much better then the "hush hush" aspect of prostitution in America.

It's hush hush because it's illegal. You gotta be discreet or you get arrested and put in jail for 10 years for being a sexual deviant.

    Even rapists don't get that.

(i hope i understand the point of this thread)

The legality of fetish work changes all over the place. In many parts of the the United States it is technically legal to perform fetish work so long as no sex acts are performed and certain legal conditions are abided. But unfortunately for many of us even fetish work is still functionally illegal. There are very few officers of the law out there will differentiate between sex work that is legal within their jurisdiction and sex work that is not, and it always comes down to the word of a whore versus the word of a cop.

The only way a person can really assert the legality of their work is if all their sessions are filmed from start to finish for use as evidence in court, and even then such evidence is typically inadmissable and once again the word of that cop can still get around it. So be careful even in areas where work like that is considered legal because even if you are not having sex with your client you can still get screwed. Then even -if- you can prove that you did not break any sex laws the court may still try to bust a person performing fetish services on abuse or assault charges. It is ridiculous.

My own standard is to just look up the laws in the area, and then keep a copy just for reference. It helps calm down the anxieties of certain clients and it also makes me look even more professional when I am discussing prices with someone, since I can point out the relative risks when comparing one act to another. But then I look up what the actual fines and punishments are in an area and guage if it is a risk worth taking. Here in Bouer it is not so bad since more often than not it is just a fine that does not even hit the triple digits, though in some cases prosecution can apparently push for up to six months in jail. probably for repeat offenders, but six months is the maximum sentence in the area. so it is an acceptable risk but not one worth pushing, and relying on repeat business is ideal.

(similarly fetish work rarely excludes any form of sex act for very long, and it can be hard to arrange for clients if nothing like that will be going on unless you are one of the famous dominatrix ladies, as far as i have found. many dominatrixes will tell you that they have never had sex with a client or performed a sex act for a client, but many dominatrixes also lie. it is all about maintaining the imaginary hierarchy after all, ha)

It can be difficult to make a recently single man pay for sex when he knows that a quick trip to the local watering hole would secure at least one hard drunken tumble for far less cash. It is even more difficult when he is something of a dead ringer for James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and possesses the sort of awkard charm and confidence that brands a man like him as a lady killer.
